I also have the 5qt stand mixer in same color-Empire Red. My husband bought it at WalMart & a little bit cheaper there than at other places. My mixer was bought on website Kitchen Essentials about 4-5yrs ago.

Sturdy and beautiful build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sturdy and beautiful build. The directions on how to take the lid off could be more detailed. It took me a while to figure it out and you have to force it more than I thought originally. But when I finally got the lid off it worked as expected. If I could put my 2 cents in with the design team I’d ask them to tweak that part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a kitchen Aid mixer so I had Great expectations With this chopper. I gave it only 3 stars because it is very DIFFICULT to line up and get it to turn on. Every time it’s a struggle.
If I would have tried this in a store , I would not have brought it.
Since this was a gift( I told them I wanted kitchen aid) I will have to keep it.
