Great basic kettle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this kettle because of its insulated feature, and we were slightly disappointed to find that the spout can't be shut, so it does still cool down fairly quickly.
Otherwise this is a great kettle. Looks sleek, easy to use. No outside water level is not a problem at all and love the minimum fill is only 1 cup of coffee. Hoping that the fact that there's no plastic inside means that it will last a long time.

Lid seal not good enough!

This is my second try after replacing the same model kettle days after purchase for the same fault! The lid doesn't sit down to make a sealed vessel and hence it boils continuously for ages before switching off or not even switching off at all. Lovely to look at but a serious design fault!
