I've had this kettle for around 12 months, and quite disappointed that it has stopped automatically shutting off as it should. Even when completely full, it takes a really long time to realise that the water is boiling, but then less than completely full, it has to be turned off manually.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have to turn the kettle off each time, otherwise it keeps on going.
Have contacted support but as yet haven’t got any response.

Only kettle with only metal interior, NO plastic!

Bought as looking for an electric kettle with no plastic inside touching water as it boils. This is the only one available in Australia that is only metal inside. Another USA brand exists that make metal only interior electric kettles but they don’t come with Australian plugs and require a transformer to alter the voltage. Too much hassle. Have only had kettle for 3-4 weeks, looks nice, and a little “plasticy” and light weight on outside. but o would much prefer the plastic here than inside touching boiling water that my kids then consume. Can’t advise how it will last over time, but I plan to buy another 1 or 2 to have for the future incase they stop making them.....

I bought this online from the KitchenAid website, expected nothing less from this top brand, but shocked when I received the kettle wrapped in scrunched adhesive plastic that looked like it was rewrapped used/returned goods - not smooth new factory wrapping! Did you sell me used/returned stock?? Also the heating element stand is wonky - not expecting that from your brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simply the best kettle we have owned. KitchenAid are one of the best products our family has owned. This kettle does the job not only does it keep the water hotter for a longer time it is quiet, efficient and affective. Bonus that is looks very nice on our bench and family and friends have also mentioned this. Have always bought KitchenAid products as we trust them to last forever. So thank you for this product. Very very happy.

I just bought it and I am very happy with it as its all metal inside with no plastic part.. it is so quiet and quick... double shield with plastic outter is great for me as I got a 3 year old kid who is very naughty. I love the coler and style.

The kettle was of poor quality and stopped working in less than a month. I have submitted the warranty request without a reply. Very disappointed. Will not buy again although we had the mixer.
