Very uneven toasting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this toaster because I liked the slimmer footprint. I like my toast on the browner side but cannot get this toaster to toast evenly. I always get one side of the crust burnt. I have to pop the toast 1/2 way through and turn them 180 degrees to try to get more even toasting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Kitchenaid 2 slice toaster looks nice but......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compared to my old K/A toaster, this one is a lot slower to toast as well as it doesn't toast completely end to end. I can see the end coils NOT glowing orange compared to the center and the old digital heat setting is preferred to the current slide setting. I give this toaster a 5/10 at best. I really wish I could have ordered an exact replacement to my old toaster that quit working recently. Sorry Kitchenaid, for this product, I expect better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great every time
