Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this only 2 weeks ago and I am very disappointed-I sold WP and KA products for 41 yrs and my old Ka toaster worked great-I do primarily English muffins and they don’t get done as well as the old toaster got them-the extra brown feature did not seem to do much.Also the muffins don’t come up as high with the lever and are hard to get out.-I don’t really want this review published-I just feel this toaster does not meet KA performance and I feel you should know
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is great size Toaster, fits really good on my counter top, does not take so much space, and since I can keep it out, I can use it everyday! it toast both sides of my bread or bagel, very modern design.

After that, it has been working like a charm. Love the options for Defrost, bagel, etc. Also i like this feature were the 2 slices are all in one slot versus 2 different Slots. I was honored to write this review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What really drew me to this toaster initially was that it matched my matte black stand mixer , where very few of the toasters do! Our toaster was pretty old and was a cheap buy years prior so it was time for an upgrade. I read a ton of reviews to make sure I wasn’t getting too many features I wouldn’t need and I didn’t want it to take up too much counter space since our kitchen is on the smaller side in our rental. This toaster is great bc it is pretty thin ,since the slots aren’t side by side like a traditional toaster , but rather it has one long slot for both pieces of bread or longer breads ! I can have it against the wall when not in use and lose very little workable counter space , then just pull it out when I need it .. I will say, the buttons aren’t 100% clear as to their function when you first get it and I found myself looking at the instructions booklet a couple times to remember which buttons meant what.... I also seemed to keep wanting to use the shade control lever as the actually up/ down lever the first couple of times I used it ,so that took some getting used to.
I love that it had a defrost feature since I’m notorious for forgetting to take spare English muffins out of the freezer the night before I need them etc , and the “ keep warm” feature is also great if whatever I’m toasting is done before anything else I might be cooking.
I’ve seen some reviews that say it takes a few rounds in the darkest setting to get a dark toast... I can’t really speak to that too much because I am fine with how things turn out when I’ve got it set to the medium to dark setting and I don’t like super dark toast anyway. The crumb tray is removable for easy emptying and it’s a simple push - in to release and then push back in to lock back in place, which is nice because there’s no handle or lip sticking out or anything , adding to the sleek look. .
I definitely went after this toaster initially for the aesthetics of it , but I’ve been really pleased with the functionality of it as well!

Great toaster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is certainly a different toaster to me. It is very innovative on the design. I've had trouble finding a toaster that can toast longer slices of bread. You won't have to look anymore with this toaster. It has a very wide long slot. One minor complaint I would have is I usually eat bread that is big. If you stick 2 slices in there depending on the slice they may overlap. They still toasted nicely. We have put pancakes in there too reheat and they come out nice and like you just made them. I would prefer 2-4 slot toaster because of this issue. My wife and kids love it. The features are bagel, defrost, even longer toasting time, not sure who likes burnt toast, reheat and cancel. I've always liked a cancel button on my toaster. I think it toasts bagels great. Has a lever to select the darkness of your toast. We tended to be towards the higher level and it didn't burn the toast. It was a nice even toast. I like the elongated shape not a big box. I'd recommend if you toast longer toast if it doesn't fit in a regular toaster and you don't have to do more than one at a time.
