I bought the Defender series Otter Box for my Galaxy S10+. I used it every day, constantly. Recently started having trouble with the buttons not working on my down volume and power button. I take a lot of screen shots. And when I couldn't anymore? I had to pull the whole case off my phone. The tight rubber piece that does the actual phone protection is literally falling apart. I bought the Defender series because I hoped it would last for the duration of my S10+. 2 years into my purchase of both phone and Defender? The rubber protection stopped functioning effectively, and I had to remove it from my phone. I hoped it would have lasted longer than 2 years. Sad it did not. Is 2 years typical for the Defender to last? If it is, I wish I knew in 2019 what I know now. I'd have purchased 2 or 3 more Defenders when I had extra discretionary funds. With my SSDI fixed income, no idea when I'll be able to buy a new Defender. I bought 2 extra belt clip holsters last year, and am glad I did. The longevity of those is really brief, sadly. Anyway. It's a good product. I like it. I'll recommend it. Just hoped it's durability would have laster longer.
The defender itself is durable but you can't use a screen protector with it. The samsung s10 plus has a screen protector on it but to add another one for added protection it will not fit in the defender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you are using an OtterBox screen protection option, feel free to call us at 1-855-688-7269, and we can get you taken care of.
The new rubber back cover did not match the original one; the camera opening was in a different place and did not line up so I had to use the old back cover in the new holder. Unfortunately, the new holder and the old back cover did not snap together very well. They work together but not as well as the original purchase.

Bought this as a replacement for my previous case. Belt clip had broken, rubber cover had ripped, plastic case had cracked. It held up for a number of years. All that & my phone was NEVER damaged. So I got a new case with a brand I trust

The case itself is great; it's just that it was made without incorporating the pre-installed screen protector on the S10+. The front part of the case is made just at the end of of the screen protector so no matter how careful you are when putting the case together, it pops up the screen protector causing a bubble and ruffling of the edges...

Iam a fan and have owned several OTTERBOX cases for more than 8 years and have been very very satisfied and happy until now. I recently bought a case for my new phone and on the 3rd time I placed on the case (because I recently installed a screen protector) the CASE SNAPPED and broke in two pieces. This is NOT THE OTTERBOX I KNOW. Please help me and tell me what to do. I paid good money for this purchase sir/mam. With respects.

I bought this case a few weeks ago for my new galaxy s10. At first I was worried that my phone would be too bulky with the defender case however it fits perfectly. Glad I purchased.
