Fits a Broad Range of Players

I bought this hoping I could give it to my brother an his family, but I almost kept it. This game was engaging and challenging enough for two mechanically-inclined adults, one developmentally challenged pre-teen and a teenager who is usually glued to his video games. I built the set and began dangling the pieces, hoping the kids would ask what I was doing. Once they came over to the table and the game started, they were hooked (and so was I)!
Pros: Easy Assembly, Fun, Great Value

I ordered and received this game just before Thanksgiving.Took it when I visited family for Thanksgiving.We all enjoyed it both young and old so much I ordered another one for them for Christmas.Its a fantastic game to play even by yourself. Easy to set up.Easy to learn.5 stars all the way.

Hoolee Molee !!! Bam! my sixteen year old said "wow! it sounds like UNO and Jenga all in one game! I changed my mind, can I still play too?" My sisters and their young kids played with my kids all afternoon today. They also took pictures of the package so maybe they will be ordering one soon too. Thank you for giving us a game where teens, pre-teens, and younger kids can all work together to create this "Metal Monster" for fun or as a competitive game. Even the adults enjoyed playing it and "helping" the younger ones.

Great game once you catch on

I see some reviews complaining they couldn't get things to work. Our experience for the first few games was challenging, as players kept trying to use end notches to hang wires . If one looks, the notches are not designed to have a piece hang down from an end notch. The curve is too gentle, and the pieces quickly become unstable. Once we started using the middle notches , the early moves became easier, then you could use other notches more creatively. Only change I would like to see is more contrast on colors on the die, and match it to the rods better. One rule change to consider for the intermediate game is when a player has to take another player's piece because the first player doesn't have a matching color piece, the first player can 'trade out' a piece. This way, a player will not run out of pieces without playing one to win.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This looks like a fun family game for people with kids in early grade school and older. I bought it for a gift, so I don't know exactly how it works, but it looks like an interesting and challenging game.

Not good color difference on die and metal hooks

We played this last night and had trouble telling the red from orange and blue from green. Seems the color choices were not well thought out. Otherwise,it was fun.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I work with teen boys for skill development. This game is wonderful for it too! It promotes concentration, focusing skills, social interaction, coping skills (for frustration, losing, etc.), patience, decision making, and problem solving. Many of the other employees have asked where I got the game and are wanting to buy it for their own home. A great game overall!
