We have been using our new machine for about a month, and couldn't be happier w/ it. It has the capability to copy / scan 2 sides quickly, which we didn't have in our Brother machine prior. Also much quicker, clearer copies.

Decent Printer, but Fails to be Consumer or Environmentally Friendly

This printer works fine for a small office environment. I absolutely despise that it uses a different toner cartridge than the outgoing model (M426) and the model that replaces the M428 will surely use yet another cartridge.
It's a shady business tactic that HP has been enjoying for years.

Hot garbage. The ADF feeder in this SMB MFP units are a complete joke. I had purchased 2 of these units, returned both immediately after finding out this fact for myself.
