Great watch w a major design flaw

I was really excited about getting this watch. Upon opening it I noticed the glass was rounded up instead of being flat. I quickly searched for a good screen protector for this new investment but none existed other than flimsy TPC films. I used the watch for almost 2 years now without any issues including workouts, running and swimming. The screen never so much even showed a scratch so I was very happy about the gorilla glass and no longer worried about it. It works great and I love the app to apply different watch faces. It syncs well with my phone, directly into Strava to record all workouts, and even into other apps. It is easy to use and very user friendly. The battery life was about expected, gps use obviously drains it faster. It was able to get mostly charged up just during showering (since I wore it to bed for sleep tracking).
However, last week upon removing my watch before playing basketball, it slipped and fell to the ground. This short fall from about waist height and the screen cracked and pieces broke off leaving a rough surface. The screen now only intermittently works. Newer versions now have a sunk in glass or flat making tempered glass protection a possibility. Because of all of the positives, I will likely purchase another Garmin watch.

This watch is durable and the app is easy to use. It's great for hiking, swimming and everyday activities. The only real issue I've had is with the band as it rubs my wrist raw. I bought a new band for it and its great. Since purchasing mine both of my parents have bought their own.

Great option to the Apple watch

This watch is a great watch. The face of it is a little bulky. The only downfall is that you can't reply to messages on the phone. Other than that, I love this watch. I keeps me focused on my daily fitness goals
