Nerwork error - Try again later!

I bought Vivoactive 3 Music three days ago and faced the problem connecting to the Wifi Network while managing connection to the 3rd party provider (iHeart radio).
I followed all instruction given in manual, as well as a youtube video "vivoactive 3 music: listening to Music from third-party providers". I added my Network to the watch, so I see it under "my Networks". but when I select it and try to connect, it first shows "searching for network" and then "Network error.try again later." The same happens when I go to Music-Manage-Music Providers-iHeartRadio. The "funny" thing is when I go to my Mobile "Garmin Connect" - "General" - "Wi-Fi Networks" and select my network - "Try Network connection" - the mobile shows "successfully connected" and the watch screen shows "connection successful". So I've tried many things like reinstalling all apps, forgetting the Network and reconnecting to it again, different locations in my house, etc. Really disappointed and wasted so much time with no result. Have no choice but to return it to the store.

We understand if you decided to return your vivoactive 3 Music given the experience you had, but would like you to know that this was quickly resolved with a software update. Unfortunately many users owned this device for multiple days before a fix could be released and we apologize for this.

Coming from Apple Watch series 2

I’ve had an Apple Watch since they came out in 2015. The Garmin watch doesn’t work as smoothly with my iPhone or have as many features as my Apple watch does, but the heart rate and activity tracking on the Garmin seems a lot more accurate. I charged it the day that I got it and haven’t charged it since(about 2 days) and it’s not under 50% yet, but haven’t used it for music. I havent used my Garmin for swimming, but for running it gives a lot of useful stats for people who run a little more seriously. I’m looking forward to swimming with it. Overall it’s a good watch.

Terrible. Returned in 4 days.

I only made it four days and couldn’t take it anymore. From the start it constantly dropped the connection to my phone. When it would connect it would sync and rewrite over hours of data essentially restarting the day. Did two complete wipes and reset to no avail. Also the screen is not nearly as nice looking as they want you to believe. It’s very low res and backlight washes out the screen sometimes.

Any users seeing connectivity issues of this sort should reach out to us directly through their local product support channel. There is specific information from each user that we will need to gather including logs from the Garmin Connect Mobile application that will help us escalate this issue.

Fine if you just want a watch/smart watch/fitness tracker. Not good if you are into the outdoors such as mountaineering, hiking, camping, paddling, and HIIT workouts. Fit and finish is really lacking and durability is a big question. Syncing was awful out of the box, as device couldn't be recognized on two laptops or a desktop computer for firmware upgrades and apps. If you never go on adventures and think your watch will never see a speck of dirt this is fine otherwise look elsewhere.

If you have experienced any durability issues, we would like for you to reach out to us through your local support channel as we will need to look into that with you. We have done extensive testing on this (and all of our products) device and have no reason to believe that users will experience durability issues. That being said, given the activities that you have described, you may find the wearables in our outdoor segment will fit your needs better.

In regards to your syncing issues, we would be interested in hearing if you were able to pair with Garmin Connect Mobile or if you had Garmin Express installed on any of these computers. You should be able to connect to your computer directly, but using these as troubleshooting steps may help us reveal the cause of the issue you are experiencing.

We are sorry to hear about the issues you've experienced but cannot figure out exactly the issue based on your review. We would recommend you visit our online Support Center (support.garmin.com) as this site will have the owner's manual, FAQs as well as how-to videos. You will also be able to find information on how to connect or pair your bluetooth headphones as well as how to connect or pair this device to your phone, depending on what you may be experiencing.

I bought the fitbit versa and absolutely hated it. I did research and bought the Garmin bioactive 3 music. I have had it 3 days and I am so in love. It is easy to setup and maneuver.
