Disappointing interface

I bought it 2 days ago and had to return it the following day. The display was not at par with other smartwatch. Resolution was low. I returned it the next day and got the samsung active 2 instead. A much better choice for almost the same price. I'm sure it has its pros but it wasn't for me.

Sorry to hear about your experience with the device, The screen was designed for battery conservation in mind and for visibility in sunlight without the use of a backlight. Also the screen can be customized as well using Garmin Connect IQ. The main reason I bought the Vivoactive 3 Music was to play my music while running without my phone! However, I can’t get the watch to download my music from Amazon Music due to some issue with the watch not connecting to the WiFi through the Amazon Music app downloaded to the watch from Garmin Connect IQ. Very frustrating!!!

WHY?

Had this 3 days and still wondering why I bought it? Poor quality...Sharp edge all the way around the bezel because because there ins't one, the glass face just sits inside a round case, not even with it, not above it, it's like ther is supposed to be a fold over military style cover. Still can't see the watch at all even with an all white face and the brightness at max so now that 7 day battery life is shot. Looks cheap, feels cheap and no amount of praise for it's music storage is going to overcome that. IF Garmin had used a better screen and only 5 days full battery life maybe it would have been a decent watch

Sorry about your experience with the device, the watch face is a Gorilla Glass 3 lens.so if you do have any issues with it we would ask that you reach out out our support staff for assistance. As far as the visibility and that you are having to set the backlight at max brightness may indicate that this particular device may have an issue. I got this a month ago as a gift and in the beginning I did’t really like it. But towards the end of the month I figured out that if you need more battery life turn of the bluetooth music connection which is on by default. After that the battery life lasted me 4-5 days on a single charge which I really liked and the workout info was spot on with not even a single weird spike or drop in my heart rate. Maybe an OLED screen or a little better OS would have made it better but overall is a solid pick.

I bought this watch a few days ago. It works great as an activity tracker. I love the idea behind the music...being able to load 500 songs which will allow me to leave the phone behind. I’m still trying to figure out how to get my music on the watch and I’m having issues downloading Garmin Express. Amazon music is great, but requires a WiFi connection, which, let’s face it, I won’t have while performing most activities outside.

Spotify doesn`t work!

I am very unhappy with this watch. I bought to use Spotify for running and it does not work. I intend to return it and look for some brand that works for that.
