I really like this watch. It has so many features that I'm constantly finding new ways to use it. The Connect IQ app is great. It gives me so much information to track, compare and improve my workouts. I haven't tried Deezer or Spotify, so I cannot comment on that. A couple of downsides. 1) The bluetooth connection with my Galaxy Buds was very iffy when wearing the watch on my left wrist. When switched over to my right, no problems at all. Just a hassle to switch. Also, I wish there was a voice that read the running splits during my runs. I had that on my phone with MapMyRun from Under Armour. Oh well, I guess you can't have everything. I would still by this again.

Just about a month since I bought my Vioactive 3 Music. So far I am loving it. The battery life is not what I expected. I normally get 5 days on a full change. I do use it at least twice a day for my spin classes, only to record the activity. So far I haven't loaded any music to it. Once summer is over I will try that feature. My biggest gripe is that the charger will only work on the computer. If I hook it up to a good USB changer and it doesn't charge.

Exactly what I needed

I have been searching for an activity watch and smart watch that would not break the bank. I consider myself pretty active and would like to use an activity watch rather then entering everything into my phone. Well, I didn’t only get a great activity watch, but also a smart watch which gives me all of my notifications I need to get me through the day.

Upgrade

I was talked into the fitness tracking by my wife who had been an avid Fitbit fan. So I went from the Fitbit Surge to the Fitbit Ionic. Unfortunately, my Fitbit Ionic malfunctioned to the point that I had to reach out to customer service. And although they have been helpful, I decided to move onto something else. I'm no marathon runner, but I love running. Who better at GPS than Garmin. The game changer, however, that I enjoyed with the Ionic was the ability to upload music into the watch. So I stumbled across the Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music. I've only had it for a few days but I'm thoroughly enjoying it! Best of all, it hasn't had cutting out issues with my Bluetooth Aftershokz bone conduction headphones like I experienced with the Ionic. The watch isn't as user friendly as the Ionic, but it's still a pretty nice upgrade!

Ok I just bought this two days ago, and I have been busy, but so far I’m finding it frustrating to program and do what I want it to do. I’ve printed the entire manual and try to follow it, but so far I’m not sure whether I made a good choice to buy it.
