Just What I Need

I had done so much research before purchasing this product and I really think I landed on the right one! I’m a marathon runner and this watch is just great for training. The music feature is great and only takes a couple minutes to download hundreds of songs. Highly recommend this product for any level of activity!

Easy to use

Compared to other GPS units this one always reads lower, elevation is about worthless, i was at the ocean and it said my min elevation was 940ft, my rides say i average 138 watts pretty much no matter how how i ride. Even on my ebike rides in max power is said i averaged less then 170 watts. Other units say the same ride I’m in 380’s.
Mileage is low compared to my bikes mileage counter which my lexyne and iPhone are almost always within a few tenths. This one is over 3-5 miles on a 30 mile ride.
Slow to sink to satellites and allergic to heavy tree lined trails.
Very comfortable and does good job on heart rate it’s really close to my chest strap heart rate monitor.
Screen not the toughest as wearing it while riding motocross i have broken the screen.
Works well kiteboarding and in open spaces where you don’t care if your elevation isn’t accurate.
On 2,000 ft elevation climb it’s been off 1,100ft.

Sorry to hear about your experience, it is possible that the device may have needed a software update for the issues you were seeing with elevation and the GPS signal. As for power the device normally does not support a power reading however there are Garmin IQ apps that do support that function that can be loaded to the device we would need to get more details from you. I would encourage you to contact our support staff to see what options we have for the broken screen on the device and to get the details on the power reading issue using the link below.

Golf gps is pretty accurate so far.

Only had if 5 days so still getting used to it. Used it for a golf weekend and the gps is accurate. Still have to get used to the other features.

I'm coming into the Garmin family after being with Fitbit for years. So far the Vivoactive3 has been great! It has everything that I look for: workout tracking, life tracking, and fun flexibility. Verdicts still out on durability, but so far it's great!!!
