I bought the VA3M about a week and a half ago. Love the look of the watch, love that I can customize the different watch faces, battery life is great, fitness tracking features (steps, HR, GPS) are spot on, the built-in activities work really well. From a full charge I tracked 4 walks, 2 runs, and 2 cardio workouts and got 4 full days of battery. I was able to download my Spotify playlists easily, and it will even add the new songs I add to that existing playlist with a simple sync. All the widgets work really well and the ease of use is great.
The ONLY negative is the Bluetooth can be a little finicky. When the Garmin Connect app (love the app by the way) is open, the watch will say I'm connected, but when I close the app, the watch will say I'm disconnected, even though my phone says I'm connected and I still get notifications from my iPhone. The only problem with that is that "Find my phone" doesn't work and the weather widget won't update because the watch thinks I'm disconnected. Everything else works fine. However, when I drive home from work with the app closed, the watch will randomly connect again so I'm thinking it may have something to do with the GPS? Just a little weird.
Before I bought the watch, I read reviews complaining about the Bluetooth connectivity from watch to headphones while running without my phone and listening to music that was downloaded on the watch. I wear the watch on my left wrist and connect it with Bose Soundsport earbuds. Although the music can skip at times, I still think it works pretty well. I switched wrists during a run and it worked perfectly so if it bothers you, switching wrists for a run takes 5 seconds and is not a huge deal.
This is my first fitness/smartwatch I've ever used. I was waiting for a watch with GPS and offline Spotify playback that wouldn't break the bank. Overall, I'm really happy and would highly recommend VA3M.

Compared to Samsung. Not as easy to use . Disappointed in music feature and connectivity. Do your homework

I researched extensively before making a watch purchase as I’ve been looking for an upgrade to my Fitbit. I liked that the Garmin is a fitness watch versus Apple being just an extension of your phone. It tracks multiple workouts and is a lot more sophisticated than I was expecting. Highly recommend!

Spotify works great with the Garmin. No need to carry my phone on workouts. The watch has an incredible array of functions including multiple workout tracking regiments. The gear function allows you to keep track of mileage on your running shoes. I am still learning the in and outs of the watch but so far I am impressed.

Screen Resolution was the only downside

The watch works as described. Easy to set up and use and has all the functionality that I need (and more). I've had it for several days and still discovering features. Battery life seems to be in line with the stats posted. The only negative I had and kept me from the 5 star rating is the screen resolution. The marketing department has done a fine job of representing the screen images as being very crisp and bright. Unfortunately this is not the case. The always on screen feature and the crystal cast a yellowish hue on the image which allows it to be seen in the daylight. If the brightness is turned up past 40% the background and object colors get washed out. I chose the Vivoactive 3 Music over an Another high end smart watch due the cost and similar functionality across the two devices that I wanted. Overall very happy with my purchase.

I purchased about a week ago and I'm enjoying this watch. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the music sounded on my bluetooth headphones. The only thing I wish it had was an app that coincided with my Total Gym Fitness tapes.
