This may be the worst customer experience ever

This product has "Music" in the title, but won't connect with Spotify. Syncing is a nightmare. Had to sign up for music provider Deezer, which I have NEVER heard of just to listen to music...aaand you have to pay more for that, FYI. Connecting bluetooth is a disaster (same headphones never have been a problem for 5+ devices). Syncing with Deezer drained the battery by 50%. Then failed. This product as the UI that looks like it was made in 2008. I can't NOT recommend this product enough. Dear Garmin, if "Music" is in the title of your product, it's 2018. Make sure it can connect to relevant music sources people have HEARD OF and more importantly USE. This product is a total disaster, and after setting it all up, which has felt like a part-time job, I have to now wipe it completely clean so I can return it and go back to the drawing board for another smart watch. Don't do what I did and waste a week on this thing. My first intuition should have been correct and I should have returned it then. Maybe one day Garmin will get a smartwatch right. Today is not that day. Stay away. Stay very far away.

We understand that Spotify is a major player in music streaming and hope to be able to announce more compatible devices soon. Garmin is not able to force any music provider to come on board as this requires development from both Garmin, as well as the music provider. We hope to be able to meet the needs of all of our customers, regardless of what music service they use, but this will take time.

In regards to your bluetooth concerns, we would encourage you to visit support.garmin.com as there are multiple FAQs that address the many variables of headphones and their compatibility. Where you are wearing the watch, the brand of headphone and even the software on both devices can all affect performance.

Please reach out to us if you continue to have any questions or concerns as we would like to hear your feedback further, even if negative, to improve this product for you and future users.

still learning

I've had this watch less than a month. still getting use to it. features appear to be exactly what I was looking for... only draw back, the band appears to have been made for a small, maybe very small to small child.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the band sizing. The band will cover most sizing needs however since the device is an industry standard wristband width of 20 mm there are third party options where different sizes and styles can be found.

Well below expectations

It was way below my any very humble expectations! Returning back to shop today after 1 day of use. Battery life is probably the only advantage I found. The rest are negative:
- screen brightness - at 100% is very low - I guess this is how you pay for long battery life
- touchscreen is not responsive, especially double tap, have to do several attempts before watch will recognize it
- not helpful in weight lifting exercises at all, no way you can easily log your progress, weights increase etc without constantly adjusting it in the app on phone
- not waking up from sleep mode on the wrist turn, so just to check time you will have to press button (screen tap don't wake them either)
And my personal:
- don't have Google Music
- don't have integration with JeFit

Sorry to hear that you returned the device. The screen brightness is a balance between sunlight readability and battery life. The weight lifting activities can be adjusted after completing the activity. Also we are working towards adding more and more music options to the device but it does take time to develop as Garmin and the music providers both work together to get that done, and Garmin cannot force the music providers to do that so it takes time.

Only had for 2 days

Only reason this is a 4 star is because I have only had it for 2 days. So far it’s great except the band it is not big enough. Have two sizes maybe even 3 (Small, Large, XL). I ordered a new band the day I got the watch. GPS is spot on, great app, and controls. Again only 2 days but so far so good, happy with my purchase. Will be happier once Spotify is available for the the device!

Only a Very Rough Estimate of Activity

Gives credit for 50 % of the floors, and pulse rate is not very accurate unless you sit very still. While exercising pulse is all over the map. Other parameters are also off. I should have looked at higher end unit.

Great Fitness and Everyday Watch

I bought this to replace my Fitbit Blaze and I am very happy with the switch. The on-board GPS and Music is the way to go!!
The only negative is you have to hook the watch up to the computer to download the music which is kind of a bummer
