It really should have a built in card reader. The rainbow bright keyboard is annoying and it for everyone. The fact there isnt a permanent shutoff for it is unforgivable. I searched through the keyboard app and couldn't find how to permanently shut it off. Lastly, this laptop should not come with a 128 gb ssd, that's just simply too small, I know I can upgrade it quite easily but am worried about voiding my warranty if doing so.

This is an amazing laptop. Everything is perfect for me except for one thing that i consider is big enough problem to lose 1 star from the rating. And this is the battery life. The battery life is terrible. When just surfing the net with a few short videos..its 2 hrs. But when im gaming ...the battery life ranges from 45 min to 1.5 hrs. But its still a very good laptop. Aslong as its plugged in.

Lenovo should use a 1TB SSD instead of a regular hard drive in Y740. That will make the system quiet most of the time when not gaming.
