This laptop is the worst. Quality is garbage. Never buy this product. It is expensive, the delivery is too long. After a year now out of warranty, the AC adapter stopped charging and I cannot find a part to purchase it!
So disappointed by Lenovo!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Y740, I really like the quality and build of this machine and it’s really fast! I also like that most of the ports are in the ack of the laptop which is very convenient.

The 's' key on my keyboard keeps coming loose and the hard drive is a little small at 256GB, but otherwise this laptop is very nice. I don't think you can beat the value for the money!

Upgraded to this laptop from a Y520.
I have a 2070 MQ model and it gets 144 fps on many games allowing me to utilize the 144hz display to its full potential.
The build quality on this laptop is x10 better and thermals are great. I love the aesthetics and overall professional look of the laptop with the RGB lights to maintain a gamer look when wanted.
It is a great laptop for the price and easily beats the competition at similar prices.

I was looking for something capable of gaming yet serious enough I could use it in a work setting. Well it's a capable laptop. It performs very well. If I could just shut of this crazy light show on the keyboard when it boots up I'd be happier. It's embarrassing to boot it up in a meeting.
