Problems out of the box: does not shutdown. Freezes in windows and games. When it works gaming performance is great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am still experiencing the smoothness of this laptop. It is easy to work and makes my efforts looks much easier than it is! I love everything about this laptop. Technically, I purchased this machine to enhance my design works by rendering software . I have not created large design file to know how fast it works . I will write another review in appropriate time. Generally, I am enjoying th epurchase I have done!
I've had this laptop for a few weeks now and can say overall I am satisfied. Delivery was very quick and arrived in perfect condition. As for performance, the laptio can run all of the games at the Highest graphics quality settings. The laptop does tend to heat very quickly while running games however. It should also be noted that there have been issues with the laptop suddenly freezing while adjusting the laptop screen and forcing it to reset.
This is a good computer. Fast speed and good graphics (I found that the fan had to rev pretty high when on the higher performance/resolutions in games). There are two reasons I don’t give it five stars: It actually takes a while to boot up considering it has a SSD drive (15-20 seconds). And a big one, the microphone. During boot up it used my voice to make decisions with no issues. But when I was setup and tried an online game, Zoom, or Discord there was no reception of my voice. The short story, I tried many of the usual fixes including suggestions online. In the end, I discovered that Lenovo Advantage was installed but only updated upon manually opening the program. And voila...the microphone worked. I wished that the program was updated during the initial setup of the computer.
An absolute beast of a machine. I love it! I work as a have Dev and I know I can always count on this machine to boot up quickly and handle anything I can throw at it!
I literally received an empty package, no laptop, and the support is not helpful at all.
