Feature packed computer

This is a great computer that has a ton of training features and an exceptional battery life. This has allowed me to improve my training capacity and keep training feeling fresh. The seamless uploading and integration with other fitness tracking apps is miles ahead of other devices in this space. Although this device is behind a generation, I do not feel that I am missing out on any critical features and would definitely recommend this as a more budget friendly option that retains a premium feel.

Does everything I need it to do and more. I swap it between bikes and sync it up easily with speed, power, and HR meters without issue.

The Edge 830 tracks more metrics than I know what to do with. Pairs easily with garmin sensors, and non-garmin chest heart rate strap. The Garmin Connect App on your mobile phone really enhances the usability and ability to review data.
Only issue I have is that it took some time to learn how to use it, and remember the various colours on the navigation map. Just a learning curve, and not a complaint about the product.

Exceeds expectations

I wanted an on-bike GPS to help me plan my workouts and track my speed. So far, the Edge 830 has not disappoint. I moved to a new city about a year ago. The Edge allows me to ride on safer routes and discover new ways to get around. I am also transitioning from an on-wrist GPS to an on-bike one. I wanted to be able to track my speed for improvement purposes. Having it right there on an easy display allows me to push harder and train smarter.

The 830 is a good GPS. It has a large enough screen to really use as my main form or navigation. It also pairs well with my Garmin Fenix 5.
