Very difficult to use

For me the Edge 830 was an expensive mistake. Its complexity makes it difficult for me to use. Also, there was very little documentation or instruction provided by the manufacturer which accompanied my purchase.

the installation link to update the device does not work properly. Clicking on the Install link sync the device but the Install link remains on.

I purchased the 830 to replace my 820, which worked erratically if it was humid or got wet. The 830 works very well, especially features and ability to save rides. The processor is much faster than my 820.

It is a good device

The Garmin Edge 830 is a good device, have a lot of great features and I use it for all my rides. My only concern by now is the touch screen. The screen changes from one screen to the other with my sweat drops and when I try to change the screen to the previuos one, it is very dificult to change it back.
