Great features

This is a great deal nicer than my old Garmin Edge 800. I love having up to 10 info points on its face. I use 9. Because its new to me I haven't yet tried to use the piece for navigation, etc. But it is a real improvement over my old 800. I'm very pleased with it.

The Touch Screen is Great!

I have owned a Garmin 530 for 12 months and has been a great improvement for training and navigation. I love the interface with Garmin Connect so I can review my route. The Garmin is even better with a touch screen. I have owned many Garmin products going back to over 25 years with the purchase of a Garmin 12X GPS. Thanks for making reliable products I can trust.

Using the device menu it is difficult to arrange data fields on display screens. This process would be easier to do on computer or tablet using a click and drag method.

I had a 1030 Plus that I lost and replaced with this 830 about 1 month ago. The features are there, it's a great product. I'm kind of missing the larger screen, but I guess I need to adapt

Great Addition

Purchased the bike computer to integrate with my Epix 2, HRM-Pro and Index 2. Very easy to pair with other devices and install on the bike. Easily visible while riding and highly configurable. Love the touch screen. Makes it very easy to navigate pages and modify fields for personal preferences.

Good improvement

I am really enjoying my new 830 Edge. It is a great improvement over my old 820. The only thing I can complain about is the lack of or clarity of the operating instructions. I have found it very difficult to follow set ups to get the most out of the device. A more detailed and comprehensive instruction book would be helpful
