1st Garmin. Really enjoying it!

I've always just used a free app on my phone but it was never very consistently accurate so this computer is really great and the mobile app works really well. I only wish there was a option for Fatbikes. I am left to choose from road ride or mtn bike ride all winter.

Purchased the 830 about 3 weeks ago after selling my Edge 1030+. Wanted something a bit more compact and not as bulky as the 1030. The 830 has not disappointed in that it has most of the great features found in the 1030 in a smaller size.

not intuitive

maybe I am just used to apple products but there is a learning curve to the Edge that I find annoying. Other than that it is fine.

Great features

Just wish I could figure out how to get connected to my Shimano Ultegra Di2 so I can see the gears and also get when I can get L/R pedal effectiveness from my stages. Get everything else, power and cadence, but pedal effectiveness is not coming thru.

Great Features and Integration

I have had this for a couple of weeks. I found it to be pretty intuitive/simple to set up and I especially like how it integrates with other components (Di2, Varia RTL515 tail light/radar, Bontrager Ion 200 head light, IPhone).

This is my first experience with a upper end bike computer. I am pretty happy with everything about it....excellent readability in bright sunlight, good routing features, and decent battery life. My only negative is to the garmin web experience....it is overly convulated,and not very intuitive. It has taken way more hours searching out answers to simple questions than I had expected....All said, once I have gotten most of the features figured out, it is pretty easy to use, but plan to spend some time getting there.
