Love the features especially the app integration

I come from polar devices and it was always a pain to integrate with all other apps. Now it’s just automatic to have all your stats everywhere to better assess training load and accomplishments.

I love the way it allows me to see where I am during a ride without looking at my watch—keeps my eyes focused on the road. The GPS maps are a life saver. Once I got dropped on a ride and got lost. Now I don’t have to worry—the return home feature works like a charm.

I had a Garmin 810, but sadly the battery was dying. I upgraded to the 830 and WOW! there are a lot of added features.
Although it is taking a little time to get used to the new menu structure, in some ways it is easier, and in others more confusing.
There is a lot packed into this little unit, and I am having fun exploring them all. It will take a little time to get well versed in the menu and how it helps me train.
No issues have been experienced thus far. Paired to all my external devices without issue, tracks GPS really well. I am excited about creating my videos with the metrics from this device for my rides and to see how it comes out.

fun and many great features. Augments my ride

Hard to set up and program. Takes hours of u-tube watching but once you get the hand of it, it's great. I still have a lot to learn especially about navigation and programming routes. If you are not a tecky, beware! Manual is inadeqaute

First time I used it, it went to sleep mode then won’t power back on. I went biking without using it. I hit home and reviewed some forum, one of the user said press hold the power button and it will power on. As a user l expect the product to work properly. Very disappointed.
