Love the touchscreen

Upgraded from the 530.
It was time consuming to set up with all the push buttons.
The 830 is like using a phone to set up and use.
Highly recommend.

Pretty good after first ride

I bought this a 2days ago and used it yesterday for the first time. It’s really good and worth the money. A quality product. My only qualm with it is that I wish I knew more about the settings previous to going out on my first ride. I used the course creator tool to go on a 20mile loop and it had me go on some very main roads, after some online investigation I was able to change the setting to avoid this type of road. Also I had issues with syncing my ride to Strava. Had to fiddle with connecting and disconnecting my Strava account to Garmin connect and then it finally worked . Other than these two things it’s great.

Awesome Little Unit

So I bought the 830 not knowing what to expect. I do have a cellphone that I mount to my bike. However, I like the fact that I can leave the cellphone at home, and just use my Garmin. I also have a Varia Radar coming in. So pretty excited to use that with my 830. As always Garmin is slightly over price, but there is a reason for that.

Great Bike Comouter

Just purchased the 830 and used it once. I love the set up and functionality. The distance was way off on my first ride. I guess I need to calibrate the speed sensor/wheel circumference, but other than this, no complaints.

I love my new Garmin 830. I also purchased the speed and cadence sensors, hrm, headlight and the RLT515. This system is just amazing. I have never been so excited to ride my bike. Everything is working flawlessly. See all my data is helping me with my fitness program. I just love it!

It is my first Garmin. I am still learning about it. It had to reset it because it would not turn of after I charged it. Other than that, it is great!! the battery lasts for long too. I love all the features too.

Scratches on screen

I just received my 830 and when I pulled back the screen protector, there were two small scratches. A little disappointed since the device is not cheap.
