Almost perfect

The 830 does almost everything perfect, my only real complaint is you can’t push the touch screen to start or stop your ride. The screen will blink with a play or start button but you can’t just touch it to start the ride instead you have to find the small button on the edge of the device to start your ride. Otherwise it connects with phone well most of the time and connects to Strava most of the time easily. Initial setup was a bit longer then it needed to be, would have been easier to continue setting everything up through the app on my phone but unfortunately some features are only on the Garmin. Garmin connected quickly and easily to cadence and speed sensors. Everything is working perfectly after a few rides, still wish the touchscreen worked to start the ride or the start button was opposing the on/off button instead of at the bottom corner.

Freezes and stop working

Just got this yesterday and wow am I disappointed! Worked for about 2 hours and then the software froze. The only way I could access the reset button was to let the battery completely drain, then I plugged it back in and could reset it, but after the reset it immediately froze again. I am going to return it.

Great Product!

This is my first leap into a bike computer/GPS. I have been using my phone for some time and the move to a GPS was going to happen. After doing a good deal of research and deciding on what I wanted I bought the 830. So far I have been VERY happy with it though It took me a few minutes on my first ride with it to figure out how to start recording the ride. I can be a bit of a dunce. I love the way it automatically uploads to Strava, and especially the warnings of whats coming up ahead! It's a lot sleaker than my phone and is giving me info that I need for my ride. Thanks!
