I got mine yesterday, and today I completed the set up and syncing with my iPhone, the first ride will take place on 1/1/20 then I will put it to the test.

Full of features

I purchased my Garmin Edge about a week ago this device is full of features and it's very easy to navigate through the menus this is a excellent device. The touch screen works well and it even has weather updates. Connect quickly to GPS. I will give additional comments once I take it out on the trails.

super super awesomeness this device is so accurate and the extra features over the 820 is amazing!!!! good buy!!! I would recommend the edge 830 if you're up for an upgrade

Great Cyclometer

I purchased the 380 cyclometer, cadence monitor, and heart monitor as a package for my road bike; also, I purchased the Varia RTL510 rear tail light/radar at the same time. The cyclometer and cadence monitor were very to install, and setting up the cyclometer and Garmin app on my iPhone was extremely easy. The 380 is a great tool to monitor my rides, and it has help me improve the benefits from my rides. I can’t say enough good things about the Varia tail light/radar rear tail light. The Varia has worked flawlessly. It has synchronized to 380 without any problems!! I can see cars or bicycles on the 380 screen long before I can hear them! This tail light ranks close to helmets as a safety feature for individuals that ride a bicycle on city streets or busy bicycle paths.

Not all features function with iPhone

GPS and basic bike computer functions operate as expected and are easy to use. However, with iPhone 11 on IOS 13 there is no ability to add contacts from your phone or add a new contact to take advantage of Incident Notification or Live Track. They direct you to use the Windows or Apple application rather than the IOS app but it still doesn't work. This is something that should be fixed with an App update but hasn't. I should have gone with the Wahoo Elemnt Roam.

The touch screen is great and I really love that I can see notifications vs grabbing for my phone to see if its an important text or not. I have yet to explore all the features but so far I am pleased. Rode in 34 degrees and light rain the other day (shorter ride) and had no issues with performance.

Don't know why I waited so long to get this! Love!

I waited to write this until after my second ride, and I'm glad I did! The first time out, the touchscreen froze on me, but the ride I just took today, everything worked flawlessly - love being able to track speed, distance, elevation, etc. I've had to reset the device once - wouldn't power on. Hoping that the couple bugs I've had wont be a problem in the future (I did the software update before my first ride...). When this thing works like it's supposed to, it's a thing of beauty!
