Cool features I never knew I needed

I’m having a lot of fun with my 830. I also really like the interface with Garmin Connect. There’s a lot of cool data to help you train smarter, and get faster. I use several platforms for analyzing my training data, and I can really appreciate the Garmin product. When using all the features, the 830 has blown my mind. Very fun!

510 to 830

I had a 510 with my old bike and when I upgraded my bike, I wanted to do the same with my computer. To say that it’s better than the 510 is an understatement.
It monitors everything on my bike and I love that it can control my front headlight too! My ONLY issue is that I cannot synch it with my iPhone 8 Plus. I have had it at multiple dealers, and they cannot synch it either. Next step- Garmin.

Big Features in a little package

I bought the 830 hoping and praying that it would be a working replacement for my 1030, which I've owned for about 3 years. The 1030 didn't work consistently, and, though it always tracked my ride, it wasn't very good at connecting with my phone or uploading my ride to Strava. I liked the size of the 1030's screen, but the 830 has much better resolution, better color, and a much more sensitive touch feature.

It's helping me lean the area I live in and it's keeping me from over training. This is my first cycling computer and I'm blown away with how helpful they can be.

Love the battery life and ease of use. Works well with my favero pedals. Love how easy it is to load maps onto it... Garmin killed it with this model!

It took some time to get used to all the options available on this computer. I had the 810 before I upgraded so there are many more options and information that I never had before. It was easy to set up but if you have an iPhone there are still some glitches in getting it to pair up. Overall I am very glad I did the upgrade!

I’ve had the Garmin 830 about 3 months now and just love it. It is a must have when I bike now. I love the tracking feature the best. The wife and friends can see exactly where I am when I bike. I also love the way it just works... I can count on it connecting to my sensors, pausing when it needs to, have great battery life, record everything I need it to. I’ve only touched on its features! Love it!
