This head unit has been the best I've had to date. Coming off of the previous generations Edge 520 I can say this was a substantial improvement. The addition of the more features and sleeker look really ties it together.

I have been using the Edge 530 for a few months and love how I can load and retrieve maps very fast. I also like the fact that you can see the elevation and remaining distance real time on long climbs.

Sweet computer for all two wheel adventures

Great product for road, gravel and MTB. I use this computer with my Quarq crankset and other accessories that enhance the ride. Easy to use and sync with my phone and cloud. Essential for my rides, try not to go without it.

small but mighty

I love this computer. It collects the data that I need yet is still small enough to not clutter my cockpit. The screen is big enough to to have 5-7 fields open and sill be able to read the data. It also pairs to most accessories that you will need like lights, HR straps, cadence and so on. I use it on 3 different bikes and for racing. Switching between bikes and race mode is a breeze. Once you have set up the profile you want to record under, you select it from the saved menu and press go.

Great Mountain Biking Computer

I am fairly "bought in" to the Garmin line up but have hesitated to buy a new bike computer for a long time so it was with a lot of hesitation I decided to go with the Edge 530. Due to the fact this would primarily be used mountain biking I didn't want the fancier touch screen version because I typically wear gloves. If you don't normally wear gloves then I would say go for the touch screen. The battery life is really good for me and I haven't gotten to the point I have run out of battery yet. I have easily used it for a whole week's worth of riding (8-10 hours) and not run out of battery. I also use this connected to my kinetic trainer and have good results with that too. I would very much buy this bike computer again if I needed another.
