Great multi-purpose navigation and activity tracking

No issues so far. Bit of a learning curve with all the settings and options, but once you get to know the machine it's very reliable, has a great battery life, and the navigation is exceptional. I like that there is no touch screen because when I go skiing I can have it attached to a lanyard in my pocket with the screen on, and pull it out while still wearing my gloves and not worry about accidental screen touches.
This was an unexpected use, as I mainly got it for gravel biking and mountain biking, which is works great for.

The Garmin Edge 530 has been a perfect fit for my needs.

As a cyclist moving from 'recreational' to 'avid', the Garmin Edge 530 head unit gives me all the tracking and feedback I'm looking for - at a price that didn't blow my budget. Quick, reliable connection to speed, cadence and heart monitor sensors let me start a ride without too much prep time.
During a ride, I don't miss the touchscreen feature available in higher-end units. In fact, once I got comfortable with the button controls, I prefer the tactile nature of this design - especially when wearing gloves in colder weather.
I was pleasantly surprised by the depth of stats provided by the Garmin Connect app. And for cyclists linking to apps like Strava, the data uploads so quickly, my ride stats are available before I walk through the door of my house after a ride.

Having ridden all over the world, and for the longest time riding with the original Edge 500, the Edge 530 is perfect me. Having a color screen with maps, not just a bread crumb trail to follow, is an awesome upgrade. Doing this while staying true to original intent of the 500 is even better. It's tough, simple and it will last forever. Just a note, my first Edge 500 still works 9 years later, and still makes it out on rides drenched in sweat and rain.

A great option for those not wishing to have a touch screen

The Edge 530 just works, and that is what makes it a great tool. It plays nice with all my sensors (Bontrager, Garmin, Stages, etc.) and keeps me informed when out on rides. Everything from biometric data, to the weather, or even what's around the next corner can be displayed for me on a ride. Aside from the initial task of setting up the various screens to have the info you want on it using the 530 is a breeze.

Couldn't ask for more

The edge 530 is packed with features. For most it's probably more than you'll ever want. Battery life is great I have never had to even think about the battery during a ride. Even after a 4-5 hours of riding it is still at around 75%. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a bike computer that checks all the boxes. Only negative thing I can say about it is that the buttons feel a little mushy. Still actuate properly almost every time but you have to press them at just the right angle to get the click feeling. Overall a great device

This is the best cycling computer I've ever owned! The capabilities of this unit are great and allow me to train my hardest each day. Whether I'm exploring new roads, or putting down the watts on my indoor trainer, the Edge 530 has me covered.

The Edge 530 is fully functional and has been very reliable. I especially like using the Climb Pro feature during long climbs. It uploads very quickly and reliably to Strava and Garmin Connect. I previously used the Edge 830 and prefer the physical buttons on the 530 over the 830's touchscreen. The only issue I have is the somewhat quirky interface when setting up and customizing the different screens.

Great Product!

The Edge 530 is a solid improvement over the venerable Edge 520, which I used for years. The new mountain biking features are awesome, especially the trail maps (via Trailforks). I also appreciate the turn-by-turn navigation, faster processing speed, and longer battery life. All-in-all, a worthy upgrade. My only complaint is that the GPS still loses signal too often in the wooded valleys and canyons of Appalachia.
