Worth every penny

Until now, I'd never had a bike computer/GPS. I always thought them to be an unnecessary tool for fitness freaks and something for riders that want to flaunt their money. Since I started getting serious about wanting to do more trail riding, I thought I'd give it a try. Great decision! My Edge found me more trails than a dedicated mountain bike app, gave warnings of upcoming Trail junctions, and the incident detection software functioned flawlessly when I took a tumble down a hillside. I'm looking for ward to learning more about the unit's features and doing more with it.

No issues so far, took a little bit of time to figure out all the settings and options - but once you figure it out it is very simple to use! It has great battery llife and features. Would recommend!

These units are super crazy easy to use. Not only can you customize them to only display the data points you are interested in, you can set which pages you scroll through.

This is my 3rd Garmin edge product after my old edge 820 battery life started becoming sub-par. (wasn't able to get longer than 5hrs run times on GPS) The Edge 530 is amazing, so many feature updates since the 820. I absolutely love the Garmin ecosystem, it's so much more user friendly than some of the competitors out there. I really prefer having button controls on the 500 series over the 800 and 1000 series, much easier to use when things get sweaty.

Worth the Upgrade

The 530 is worth the upgrade if you have any cyclo-computer over 5 years old due to the number of training tools and compatibility this offers! Weather you want to train with power and or hear rate this computer has what you need to monitor your rides weather on dirt, road or even indoors!
