I have raced the Leadville 100 MTB with this computer the past two years and would recommend it to any cyclist of any level. It has all the data you need and its easy to use.

Edge 530 mtb

Functional, matched to my Garmin Fenix 6 watch and Strava
Climb Pro was a neat little feature when it activated. Very handy to determine how much effort to use on a specific climb.
Due to the few amount of buttons it does have, it is hard to navigate the Browse Map feature. Having to constantly switch from left/right, up/down, zoom in/out is mildly annoying. But it does everything else so well for the price that it's still a great option without needing to up to the 830/840.

A couple of years old, but my favorite bike computer.

I know the 530 is a few years old, but it is all you need for recording your easy no-drop rides or your leg-ripper hard rides. I had no issues linking it to any Bluetooth or Ant+ product, it's battery lasts more than a couple of 100 mile rides and its navigation is spot on.
It lacks the touchscreen functionality and doesn't allow you to type specific addresses and have the computer calculate the route. But if you feel that's important, get one of the Edge 1030/1040/830/840.

Best overall cycling computer

I use this this computer for both road riding and mountain riding. It works perfect for both. It also have multiple activity profiles so I can swap it between my road bike, my mountain bike, my ebike, and my indoor trainer. It is the best cycling computer for the money. The only thing I don't like is all the buttons. It is occasionally hard to navigate between screens and options especially while riding.
