Spotty GPS Signal

There's a bit of a learning curve with this device compared with my old 520. GPS reception has been inconsistent despite proper set up.

Christmas Present

I got this Edge 530 for Christmas and got to use it 2 times before it got too cold to ride. I really like the tracking of Stats and recording the routes I took. I loaded Garmin Express and was able to load some routes from other people down to the 530 and waiting for warmer weather to try the directions for the new routes. So far I really like it. Great Technology. Able to upload my status to Social Media easily.

Purchased Edge 530 paired with Varia RTL 515, speed & cadence sensors 2. Thoroughly appreciate the fact that approaching vehicles from the rear are announced and my workouts with all information saved on computer are awesome.

I miss my 810 due to the larger screen. But not needing to buy a map online and a memory card was nice. having a lot of trouble connecting with my Quarq Power meter, and having a smaller screen suck. Not to mention it’s not touch screen. But being able to control my Kickr and waaaaaaay longer battery life oars huge pluses. This could’ve been ugly. I’d like to figure out this power meter connectivity issue though.
