GPS blurry and a bit confusing

I have been using my edge since September and I sometimes have trouble understanding the direction and GPS. The interface design needs to be updated and the GPS is not really accurate and smooth as I would like to see but it is doable. However the app, Garmin connect, It is the best!

Easy Set Up and Use

I’ve owned my Garmen Edge 530 bundle for a week now. It is an easy setup and self guided. I live in Palm Springs California and the screen is easy to see in direct sun. Battery outlasts every other electronic I own. There are tons of features that came as a surprise. For instance, it tells me how long I should recover after exercise and it charts your progress in many ways. I highly recommend it.

i got it as an early christmas present, and i’m so happy that i got it. But, i have a question, i’m still trying to figure out how to put my zones on the garmin, so i can see them when i am riding

Upgrading from an edge 500 only because it was starting not to show up on my computer when uploading rides. Still figuring it out. Probably more features then I know what to do with. The automatic uploads is nice.

Not user friendly

Very complicated with no user instructions on how to operate and download rides. I have spent 2 days trying to get the device set up and how to download routes. It is way too complicated. I wanted to use the heart rate monitor and that wouldn’t connect to Garmin.

Packed with lots of features!

Just have to give kudos to the Garmin Edge 530 after 60 days of usage. This unit is awesome especially with the features that's packed in it. What I really like is the extra apps that you can download through Garmin that you can add to the display. I've downloaded a weather app which tells me in real time the current weather a well as wind speed and the direction it's coming from. This helps me determine the direction and distance of my ride for the day. Keep up the good work Garmin!
