Great GPS for road and MTB

I bought this initially for road cycling, but lately have been using it on my mountain bike. I love the MTB trails navigation linked to Trail Forks, as well as the MTB dynamics, like jump tracking. I do not feel like I’m missing out on a touch screen at all. If you’re on the fence between this and the 830, go for the 530 and save yourself some cash.

Love Garmin but software design is slipping. Spotty Bluetooth connection with iPhone Max and Garmin app. Rides do not upload all the time, screen freezes, Xert and other 3rd party apps are all over the place with recording data such as cadence, hr, and power. Wahoo is calling my name but I will only switch if I have to.

Works well

Bought a couple weeks ago, seems fairly easy to use. I love the turn by turn directions and the capability of syncing with various apps. I’m still leaning the ins and outs of usage but only complaint is how it struggles to recalibrate itself when off route. It takes about 1/4 mile to update and even then it still wants you to make a u-turn for another mile or so. Otherwise, excellent product, just has some small quirks.

Please Fix the up and down buttons

The 530 has great features the buttons make them really hard to use. The scroll up button is always stuck and the scroll down isn’t much better. The emergency crash notification feature is not my favorite thing. It’s gone off multiple times, usually from just stopping on my bike.

The 530 definitely works great and it is a different than the 820 I have. The features are great and the battery life seems better too.

I love it so much!

It's really the best bike computer I've owned, especially when paired with the Varia radar. It does everything I needed it to. Maps are superb, stats are great! Had only one hiccup when first setting up the device, but a reset fixed it.

Huge upgrade over my Edge 820

Screen is bigger, device is faster and battery life is longer. Love how it can show grade, distance remaining, gain remaining and elevation profile while you're on a climb. Also love the live tracking, incident detection and light management features for increased safety. My 820 was touchscreen which was tricky to use with gloves/sweat/rain. I opted for the 530 with physical buttons and find it much easier to use,
