Awesome ear muffs!

They allow you to hear minor sounds, so they are really great to use while hunting, because they can pick up foot steps that you can't usually hear very well. And, they are even better while shooting. It is pretty amazing what they do when you fire a shot, it just blocks that out, then goes back instantly to being able to hear. no longer do you have to take off your hearing protection while shooting to talk to another person, you can carry on a conversation up until you are ready to fire. the Bluetooth is a plus too, that way you can hear if you have an incoming phone call or text while shooting or protecting your hearing from another activity. They are just amazing. I was offered this product to test and write an honest review.

The best I’ve ever used!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work outside with loud power equipment on a regular basis. I also go to the range regularly. I have used a multitude of hearing protection products. These are the best quality with the best features that I have ever used. They are made with durable parts. They are not flimsy in any way. I really like the fact that I can listen to music through Bluetooth from my phone and still hear others talking through the microphones. The hearing protection is great. The prolonged noise from engines is easily drowned out as well as the loud sounds of the range. This is just an awesome product. You really do get what you pay for. 3M provided me a sample of this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these free, and I'm so glad I did. I have two other brands of electronic hearing protection and these are my new favorite. The sound is great. The ear cups are super comfortable, and the band has a spot for the knob on the top of baseball caps to fit in so it doesn't dig into your head.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Peltor Sport Tactical 500 Electronic Hearing Protector was given to me from 3M to test and review. This is definitely my go to product for hearing protection. It cuts down on sound a lot and also very comfortable and lightweight. The ear padding is good and the headwear is not bulky. It has clear sound and very durable. One thing that could improve would be the plastic that coats the padding. I can see it eventually cracking in the future as it reminds me of what is used on other headsets. So far it has been fantastic.

Cons: Needs LED on/off indicator so you can verify they are off when not on your head, needs more adjustment for larger heads (too small), couldn't get blue tooth to connect to phone.

I have always hesitated to purchase electronic hearing protectors because of the off-chance they they would fail and my hearing would be damaged because of it. After using this product, I do not have that worry anymore! This product is very comfortable and works as stated. I also enjoy the fact that I can Bluetooth to my phone and listen to music. It makes for a fun, worry-free day at the range!

Worked great until they broke

Loved these hearing protection muffs. They were comfortable and did a great job. Unfortunately what seems to be a common problem happened to me. The plastic cover that hold the metal wire broke. It has screws to remove and replace, but it seems like there are no replacement parts available.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
