[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of these hearing protectors. They are quite comfortable and do an excellent job of blocking Out sound.

Worked great until they broke

Loved these hearing protection muffs. They were comfortable and did a great job. Unfortunately what seems to be a common problem happened to me. The plastic cover that hold the metal wire broke. It has screws to remove and replace, but it seems like there are no replacement parts available.....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good features, uncomfortable headband.

Just bought this, and my initial impression is that the feature set is great, and the hearing protection seems like it will be great, but the headband is quite uncomfortable. It's not bad enough that I want to send it back, because I'm hoping that the noise reduction will be better than other sound-powered muffs that I have which all require earplugs as well when shooting long guns. (I have a set of unpowered Peltors which are my go-to muffs when I want comfort and protection - but they have no audio so my ability to hear what's going on around me is poor.). My fix on the headband: I cut out a patch of flexible closed-cell foam - it's from a bit of packing material - just a few mm thick. When I put this under the headband on by almost bald head it provides enough protection from the band that I think it will work. Likewise, when place the same patch inside of my hat (which has that little metal button on the inside that the band smashes down into my scalp when I put the headset on over the hat) it provides enough protection that I think it will work there as well. SO - hopefully peltor will get the hint and add a thin layer of padding - I think that's all it will take. I believe they are trying to design the muffs to work with hats which most of us probably use at the range and hunting; a good consideration, but they haven't gotten it right yet. For my part, I also think I'll get a hat w/out that metal button at the top (as many 'ballcap' style hats have).

Happy with noise reduction

I’ve had these for 8 months. Mostly shot trap, skeet etc but use for long guns also. 1-they suppress sound very well and I would buy them again 2-they could certainly be more comfortable. 3-there is a power plug in the one ear. Is this to recharge a rechargeable battery?

Weekly used for the last 18 months, 3-600 9mm shots, in between other shooters. Cannot imagine what else/ more could earmuffs offer honestly.

Won't work with iPhone 16

This unit worked perfectly with my iPhone 13, I now have an iPhone 16 and I find it does not connect but it does cause the iPhone volume to increase dramatically. Apparently there is something different about the newest iPhone. Not happy.

Failure to charge

Had the 500s for 4 years and only used them twice now they won’t charge at all right when I need them. I have an older pair of walkers that take 2 triple a Still work and I will never try a fancy peltor. Now I have to settle on the 25 year old peltor ultimate 10s.

Very weak plastic. Do not buy.

Very cheap and weak plastic. Broke where muff connects to headband rendering them useless because you can’t find replacement parts.
