Not enough protection for my hearing

I like these for not so loud woodworking environments, but when I mow or use a router they do not provide me with nearly enough noise protection. When mowing they produce a horrible low frequency pressure and even with the volume all the way up you can barely hear any audible sound from my Bluetooth device. The comfort level is pretty good, compared to most hearing protection. But I do not feel that I am getting enough protection so I will probably end up returning. This was the highest rating available for dB selection at our Menards, so maybe I will have to look online for a better dB rating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very good Ear muff with a Very bad Wire quality

I bought this item on July 2021 and still wear it till now.
The good about this 3M "WorkTunes" are:
1. It has a voice volume max limit so we won't hear extra loud sound.
2. The sound detail is pretty good, but we cannot compare with audiophile headphone. The bass is not too deep but okay, the treble is there / so so( I can't take high frequency), the mid is decent.
3. Battery wise is good, I wear it for 8 hours shift for 5 days and it still has 10% to 20% power
4. Casing durability is great, I knock it with rebar many times but the cap casing still in good condition, maybe only scratch.
5. If u are in the warm weather, I suggest to buy with the gel pad, it helps so much, so your ear won't be sweating so much and become stink like vinegar.
6. Sound respond is very good, it can be compared with a mid to high end headphone.
The Bad are:
1. Heavy. this ear muff is a bit heavy to wear
2. Normal ear pad is hot.
3. The wire is the big issue for this product. the wire on the ear cup are easy to break, once it break it means you can't hear one side or maybe both side. 3M need to upgrade this wire placement or quality. It just took me 1 year then the wire will be broke. I always carry my headphone bag (SLAPPA headphone bag) for this ear muff but still the wire cannot stand last long.
If you want to purchase this items, just be prepare to buy it again in 18 months. Your time to enjoy with full music while working in noisy environment only for 18 months

good product, defective charging port. disapointed

The headphones are comfortable and the battery life is very good. Until the USB port stops charging.

Good, could be better.

I've had these for a couple years now, this is my second pair and I pretty much love them, but the speaker wire where it meets the ear cover is deteriorating and breaking, and I've now lost sound in my left headphone. The headset is in pretty much great condition otherwise, and the wire is starting to deteriorate and slowly break on the right side as well, I don't know if there's a fix for this but it's disappointing that this is the only thing keeping me from enjoying these headphones.
The battery, also when fully charged only shows as being about 50% charged on my phone and other devices that I connect them to. They also won't pair with my laptop for some reason, but I'm wondering if this isn't just a hardware incompatibility issue, which is still kind of disappointing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible directions

Bluetooth very touchy and almost impossible to reset once it goes out. Phone impossible to use - should be simple however it really should just be sold as noise cancelling versus any other claims

BOOMER PROOF

My Dad bought a pair of these in 2018 and they have been through everything. Left out in the rain, left out un the back of the truck over the weekend and rained on, left out in the boat and then fell into the bilge and got soaked in gasoline water, they've been left out in the snow and the sleet, they've been kicked around in the mud and the dirt, they've been thrown across the room when Dad gets mad, and now their covered in paint, scratches, the headband is being held together with green electrical tape and yet they still charge on, all this over 6 years, how much more can you ask out of a pair of sub hundred dollar headphones...
