Good ear protection, terrible bluetooth radio

good headphones, bluetooth is highly disappointing. You may get lucky and pair a few times, but reset, pairing and other functions simply fail to work after a while.

High failure rate

Had for about a year and they suddenly got so quite I can hardly hear them in a quite area. No chance of hearing music in a loud area.

Great product, wish it would last beyond warranty

I love these headphones - the sound is clear and balanced, the gel cups are comfortable enough to wear for 12 hours with no discomfort at all. Unfortunately where the wire exists the muff on each side appears to be a deliberately engineered point of failure meant to break just after the warranty expires so you'll buy another. For the price and intended use, I'd expect to get more than a year out of them.

Poor charging port design

Charging port broken. Did realize the poor reviews with the same problem until I began researching for a fix.

Good product just needs a couple tweaks.

I work as a landscaper running all different types of very loud equipment, I've used several of these products over the years from the AM FM radio pairs, and now on my second pair of Bluetooth. For the most part they are really good, comfortable, and do the job nicely. My only complaint is that I have to wear hard hats on certain projects and can't use them comfortably. It would be great if I could find a pair that the head band would pivot back behind your neck. That and the foam is really hard to keep from smelling bad when you sweat a lot. Otherwise a great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not built for a dirty environment

Used for four months. Probably got my moneys worth. Glad I had them, but then charging failed. I suspect the USB port died from dust. I expect this product is mostly used in dusty environments. If 3M just added a port cover it would improve this product dramatically. Soon, it will be an electronics hobby project: hack the charging port! (Hey, 3M: are tear-down details available?)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

BOOMER PROOF

My Dad bought a pair of these in 2018 and they have been through everything. Left out in the rain, left out un the back of the truck over the weekend and rained on, left out in the boat and then fell into the bilge and got soaked in gasoline water, they've been left out in the snow and the sleet, they've been kicked around in the mud and the dirt, they've been thrown across the room when Dad gets mad, and now their covered in paint, scratches, the headband is being held together with green electrical tape and yet they still charge on, all this over 6 years, how much more can you ask out of a pair of sub hundred dollar headphones...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these at work when I use the leaf blower, Its incredibly loud, before worktunes It always gave me ringing in my ears, I wanted to grab a pic but I always just complete my task and move on, No time for pics, My only concern is that the volume of the headset doesnt go high enough, I can trance out to my tunes whilst blowing off the Patio, 3m got this right, These ear muffs work perfectly, They save my hearing and are functional, I did receive this product free for an honest review but I would Purchase this If given the chance, Nice to have the Bluetooth capabilities and it sounded nice,
