Frustrating

Got these for Christmas so really didn’t use them except for charging and connecting to my IPod & IPhone which they connected to easily. Have a hard time describing my frustration and disappointment when attempting to use them during yard work this summer. The headphones constantly skip/stop during IPod play or during IPhone conversations. Just not useable if you want to keep your sanity!

Work great if you hold your phone to your head.

Same problem as everyone else, bluetooth skips if your phone is more than 2 feet away from the muffs when riding the tractor. These replaced a new pair of Howard Leight that did the same thing. My guess is that they are the same device.

Overall physical quality is A+, very good at blocking noise. However, audio level is terrible....can hardly hear at Max, audio ialso of poor quality. Bluetooth constantly skips. I returned to store where I bought them.

So good I bought a second pair

I got a pair to try at work in our noisy computer lab, so I wasn't haven't to constantly reinsert foam ear plugs. It worked so well that I got a pair for my home garage. The only thing I would like to see improved is adding a non plastic padding option. I sweat while wearing these, which makes putting them back on momentarily uncomfortable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent a pair of these headphones to try out and they sound great. My only complaint is no radio in them. Some places I work I can not get a cell phone signal so the radio would be nice.

Happy so far.. but what is the voice saying?

It reduces the riding mower noise sufficiently and BT works well. FM station I listen to has occasional static, which has no static at or near my home in my car. The station is clear on my car for another 15 or so miles away from here, so FM reception could be improved. I can't figure out what the voice is saying that sounds like "satellit low". The first word does not sound like battery, the second word is clearly low.

Works great except for...

These work great especially when listening to music. I use it primary in Bluetooth mode and I have one complaint about it. I like to listen to podcasts at times. When I do and I'm using one of my machines (landscaper), podcasts are really difficult to fully hear. The volume is very low and it make the audio barely understandable. I have to use earbuds under the work tunes if I want to listen to podcasts. I'm not sure if the fault of the phone or the headset.

Hello! The unit is first and foremost a hearing protector and will only get to a certain level of dB. However, with the Safe Volume Control feature on this design, it actually has a higher dB limit on it than our previous model. The only thing we can think of is that you may have it on the lower set dB (limiter), rather than the default Safe Volume Control (Dosimeter). To see if that is it, please use the following steps to set your unit in to the Safe Volume Control (Dosimeter) mode:
1 Unit needs to be off 2 Press and hold Power Button and Center of Tuning Dial together 3 Voice Assist will say, “Settings Menu” 4 Press Center Dial to toggle between menu items. 5 Stop when you hear either, “Dosimeter” or “Limiter” (not “Dosimeter Default Setting”) 6 Turn Scroll Wheel to toggle between “Dosimeter” and “Limiter” 7 “Dosimeter” is the “Safe Volume Control” technology 8 “Limiter” is to be used if the user wants to keep the max limit set at 82 decibels 9 Press “Function” key to exit once the desired setting is chosen
