blue tooth a joke

A little disappointed

Bought them yesterday, super exicited to use them at work where i use various lawn equipment and chainsaws. To say the least they look good, but as far as volume, there very faint. I used the leaf blower today and could bearly hear the music over the machine. I'm half and half on them. Kinda wish I stuck with my earbuds and regular hearing protection

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. This unit is first and foremost a hearing protector and will only get to a certain level of dB. However, with the Safe Volume Control feature on this design, it actually has a higher dB limit on it than our previous model. The only thing we can think of is that you may have it on the lower set dB (limiter), rather than the default Safe Volume Control (Dosimeter). To see if that is it, please use the following steps to set your unit in to the Safe Volume Control (Dosimeter) mode:
1 Unit needs to be off 2 Press and hold Power Button and Center of Tuning Dial together 3 Voice Assist will say, “Settings Menu” 4 Press Center Dial to toggle between menu items. 5 Stop when you hear either, “Dosimeter” or “Limiter” (not “Dosimeter Default Setting”) 6 Turn Scroll Wheel to toggle between “Dosimeter” and “Limiter” 7 “Dosimeter” is the “Safe Volume Control” technology 8 “Limiter” is to be used if you wish to keep the max limit set at 82 decibels 9 Press “Function” key to exit once the desired setting is chosen

Good Volume?Battery Life

I purchased this a week ago and used it all this past week. I operate a tractor and mowing deck at a golf course and used the Worktunes for 4 days working 5 hours plus a day. The battery is still on high and I have the volume on my Ipod low and still hear the music fine. So far a great product!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worked great- until they didn't

These changed my work life- suddenly I could weld and grind while listening to a book on tape. It was all great for a couple of months and then the sound quality started to diminish. It got quieter and quieter until I would strain to hear anything in a quiet room. They were still under warranty so I sent them in two or three months ago with the required paperwork. Never heard back. surprise surprise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product

Got headphones as a gift for working with gas powered tools in the yard. Had a slight problem with Bluetooth pairing as some reviews mentioned but 3M support helped me to get it working. Battery life is outstanding. Sound quality is ok and what I would expect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Can't recharge

Initial charge worked. Sounds great. My body blocks the Bluetooth signal if my phone is in my left pocket. But the battery is dead now and no matter what I plug them into, I can't get them to charge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fell Apart

Used for about 30 hours and one of the padded ear cups fell off. Looks like no way to glue it back on due to materials used. Worked well before it fell apart--long battery life and easy to use. Can't speak to audio quality as I listen to e books.
