Great sound quality but...

I have enjoyed the excellent sound quality of theses headphones (while they worked). Would offer them to friends, music comes out very nice in the noisiest environment! They really do the job in terms of performance. I bought theses in november '07 and have used them 50 hours at most since then. A few days ago, after a full charge, It would not power up anymore... I can only see a blue solid light when plugged in, nothing happening on button presses :-( This product should definitely have better reliability (regarding the 3M brand reputation). IMHO the electronics in there seems badly engineered or arent reliable. 3M should provide schematics to disassemble and repair so less plastic fills our landfills (how do you open it without breaking it?). It empowers to fix things too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor product - stopped charging after six months

crap charging system/battery

Charged it a few days ago? It's dead. Been hooked to the charger all week? Yeah, still dead. Just finished charging? Not fully charged. You expect a lot better from 3M... I got them for mowing the lawn and I've yet to actually use them because they are never still charged, even though I charged them and didn't use them. It's crap.

No Iphone support??

I loved these... while using them with a Samsung device. Unfortunately they don't seem to be supported by iPhone. Now they will either end up in the trash or used just for ear-pro. Disappointed. Would recommend if you have anything other than iPhone.

Comfortable

Got these as a gift in Nov 2020. Stopped working in june 2021. Good sound (I like to listen to some talk shows). I may have drop the more then a few time. I was happy with them. Wish they lasted longer

These are not that good

They are very heavy, the sound quality is very poor, the volume is low, need to use a booster app which lessens the already poor sound quality. Very unimpressed with this product

Useless for AM anywhere except the Americas

In the the Americas AM stations are 10 KHz apart. The rest of the world spaces them 9 KHz apart. As this headset uses a predefined 10 KHz spacing you can't tune in AM stations in the rest of the world. I live in Australia, so these are going to be returned. Pity -the build quality looks good. 3M needs to either make a 9KHz gapped version, or place a warning on the box -"Only for use in North, Central and South America"

The unit you have listed, the WorkTunes Connect is bluetooth only and doesn't have the radio option, however, our WorkTunes AM/FM Hearing Protector or our WorkTunes Connect +AM/FM Hearing Protector does have the option for the 9kHz. loved them until I didn't

Purchased roughly 1 yr ago and no longer have the receipt. Was able to use bluetooth for maybe 3 months and then it stopped connecting. AM/FM works good but can certainly use a better antennae. This the second pair I bought with similar results, ie poor reception, first pair didn't have bluetooth
