Great!!! Well worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed some type of hearing protection while operating machinery. 3M being an important name with the safety industry made this set stand out among others styles and brands. With the added benefit of bluetooth made this very appealing. This was great for what I needed. 5 stars

Won’t charge

Bought mine in May 2019 to use while mowing my yard. I use them about 1 hour per week. They arrived with a medium charge in the battery. This lasted until August 2019 when I needed my first charge. I used the supplied cord, but they will not charge. I guess they’re defective. Everything else was decent about them. However, my pair is a one time use and throw away. Now I need to find out if 3M will replace them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Are both sides supposed to work?

Fresh out of the box. Pairing was easy, but I only get sound from one side. Is this normal or are these defective? In any event, they're going back.

good while they lasted.

I purchased a set to use in the shop I work at about a year ago . They worked as advertised and I was pretty much satisfied with them. The problem started with the usb charging port. I had to find the "sweet spot " to get the unit to charge ( pluging and unplugging the cable until I got the blue light to stay on. A bit of a hassle, but i could make the work. Now today I go to charge the and the usb port pushed inside the unit not allowing connection. so guess I now have a pair of overpriced earmuffs now.. Not happy.....

They worked good to start with but now

Worked good to start with but now the microphone is stuck on and they mix outside noise with my music so I get to listen to my mower mixed with music.... might as well buy ear buds because the whole point of buying them was to listen to music not my mower through expensive ear muffs.

Better work environment

Makes work more efficient not having phone in hand while trying to accomplish tasks. One feature that would make it better would be if it told you where battery life was when you shut it off.

i DO ALOT OF WORK WITH POWER TOOLS AND WAS GETTING BY WITH CORDED HEADPHONES THEN THE LOCAL FARM SUPPLY HAD THESE OVER PRICED THINGS AND AS I'VE TOLD MANY CUSTOMERS I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED C IN PAYING EXTRA FOR A 3M PRODUCT ALWAYS TOP OF THE LINE. I CAN NO LONGER TELL THEM THAT. THESE THINGS ARE ALMOST TOO QUIET AS I HAVE CONSIDERABLE HEARING LOSS BUT I COULD DEAL WITH THAT IF THE BLUETOOTH WASN'T COMPLETE JUNK. I WOULD RATHER HAVE A CORD TO DEAL WITH. THEY WILL NOT STAY CONNECTED IF I PUT MY PHONE IN MY POCKET OR IF I GET MORE THAN ARMS REACH AWAY FROM IT STILL IN LINE OF SIGHT. i HAVE CHEAP JUNK SPEAKERS THAT ARE CAPABLE OF OVER 50' THRU A WALL. THESE ARE COMPLETELY JUNK USELESS AND EXPENSIVE. AS I SELL AUTOMOTIVE PARTS I MOVE A LOT OF 3M PRODUCT IN A MONTH BUT NO LONGER CAN I USE THE BEST LINE I HAD WHEN THEY ARE LOOKING AT DOUBLE THE COST FOR 3M OVER GENERIC HOUSE BRAND THAT WILL PROBABLY DO THEM JUST FINE. YOU GUYS SHOULD REALLY LOOK AT PUNTING THESE OFF THE MARKET.

Charging issues

Perfect for what I need. When the light indicates they are fully charged, I switch on and the voice says battery medium. Phone says 60%. I then charge again until the light indicates charged, voice still says battery medium and my phone says 70% Quite annoying really.
