Good sound, good reception

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These do a great job of blocking out the sound, and the FM reception on them is pretty good. It is a little hard to get used to the functions of all of the buttons, but once you are able to know which knob to turn or button to push, it works very well. There's quite a bit of a learning curve to it, and I suggest you keep the paperwork/cheat sheet that comes with them handy until you learn what button does what.

I love my 3M WorkTunes Hearing Protection

Ive owned these for almost 4 years now and have been extremely pleased! Solely use them 1-2 hours a week for lawn mowing and some yard work. They are a quality item for the money. Very comfortable to wear, for extended periods of time, easy to use, and so far durable. Recently my ear cushions broke. Is there any way you can put a link (or in related products section list the part number) for the replacement ear cushions?

Ok performance - sucks batteries

I am using my second pair of these. The first operated very well and after several years The ear seals cracked and one of the speakers stopped working. So, I bought a new pair. When they work - they are ok as it is difficult to stay on one station, and I need to put in new batteries each time I use them. It seems to use battery charge when sitting on the shelf.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great while it lasted

Bought a couple of years ago and was so pleased I purchased a pair for my dad and father-in-law. The product is made well but for one exception: the ear pads were made cheaply and have deteriorated such that they are unusable. I would love to replace them but can't find any replacements. The rest of the product is in good condition - I wish the quality had been maintained for all components.

Great features 3M Hearing Protector with Radio

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like. The AM/FM radio sounds great. You can auto-scan, save favorite stations or plug into your smartphone. The Noise Reduction worked great. Perfect for working in the shop or mowing the lawn, or vacuuming home or car. Stops those awful noises! Controls are easy to operate even with gloves on.

Battery drains even when turned off

These work great, IF I remove the batteries after each use. If I leave the batteries in they drain completely within 2 weeks (even when I double-check that the unit is turned off). Seems like something is wrong.

What do they do when in fm mode and a call comes i

I have looked and looked. This is such a simple question. I dont want to stream npr from my phone because it drains the battery. I want the muffs to be paired but playing fm radio. When a call comes in, I want some sort of audible alert. Then I will stop what I’m doing and answer the phone using the phone.
