excellent hearing protection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I both tested these out and came to the same conclusion! This is an excellent, above standard product! It cancels out all outside noise and only lets you hear your favorite tunes or whatever you chose to stream. You won't hear any outside noise at all! My husband was wearing these protectors while mowing the lawn and was very happy with the performance. I took them to the range and was totally blown away (no pun intended). Awesome product!

Excellent noise cancellation, surprising sound!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these for working with power tools at home. Ear buds were not cutting it around the loud and obnoxious yard equipment. The gas mower was reduced to a mild hum allowing me to listen to my ipod at a very comfortable volume. The radio pulled in my favorite stations very well once I freed the antenna from under the headband as it was packaged, One station is very fringe here and cuts in and out in my car, but I had no trouble with the headset. The controls are not intuitive since they work multiple functions but the instructions set me right, the voice response works well and I had no trouble after that. My only nit to pick is the vinyl ear cups get sweaty, but they clean easily and I suspect it is a trade off for the very good noise cancellation. The 2 AA batteries (not included) seem to last quite a long time so far.

Waaay better than expected!

Excellent comfort. Great features. Sound is really good. A WINNER! Saw this on the shelf at the local big box and tried it on for size. Felt nice, and the sound attenuation was great. Brought one home, inserted batteries and started playing. Radio works well - inside my steel sheds too! Bluetooth controls are logical and useful. Now for the fun - start working. I use an electric chain saw to cut wood slabs that I throw into my wood heating system. The draft fan is steady and loud. The chain saw is random and obnoxiously loud. This does the trick! Listen to whatever you like at a comfortable level while keeping that other stuff out. Voices are clear. Music is balanced, full range, and detailed. Wow! Just like I'd hoped when I brought these home. Looking forward to trying these while mowing, snow blowing, and in other noisy environments.

Ear protection with Radio and bluetooth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not just a regular ear protection it comes with a radio and bluetooth built into the unit. the headset requires 2AA batteries which are not in the box, the batteries do fit fairly snugly and takes a little force to get them into the unit. As there is no digital screens on this headset to tell what mode or what AM/FM station you are on the headset will speak to you when you turn it on and change modes. As you move through the stations it will speak to you the current station number. Overall have not had any issues with this product as of yet, just remember that this does cut down most sounds, but some will still get through. I was given this product by 3M to evaluate.

I have had these a week and they are great for the intended purpose. The sound is a bit tinney but being a hearing protection device I am sure they want to protect your ears from loud music as well. My only complaint so far is they say there is an optional lithium-ion battery pack which no one has been able to locate. I have a request in on this question and may update if I get an answer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Who knew a hearing protector could be so entertaining? The radio reception is excellent, indoors and out. The Bluetooth functionality is 100%. Controls are easy and 'vision-free', as a pleasant voice directs your knob-turning as you wear them. I have tried these with Bluetooth pairing with a Kindle Fire and various other cell phones and tablets, without any hassles. Outside noise is greatly reduced, and I would feel safe in a loud environment (outdoor equipment, factory floor, etc.) with these on. Too many surprise features to believe, all of which are very well engineered...to top it off, sound quality is outstanding. I received the first pair as a sample, and those were permanently 'borrowed' by my wife. I'm ordering a set for myself next! :-)

The 3M WorkTunes Wireless Hearing Protector with Bluetooth Technology is an amazing product. Firstly, they are very comfortable to wear over ears, they doesn't feel too heavy. Second thing that I liked about it is that I can connect it to all my devices via Bluetooth. The instruction manual is really informative and makes it easier to maneuver this hearing protector. I also loved the inbuilt feature of AM/FM radio feature, through which I can listen to my favorite radio station without any hassle. The signals of radio were very clear. It reduces outside noises significantly while working. Impressive features.

Great for Work Music

I like that these easily connect to your favorite music and aren't too heavy. I like to listen to music and it protects my ears from other noise. These are great! I received a sample from 3M but my opinions are all my own and I definitely recommend these.
