Kills Batteries!

I have gone thru 5 (five) pairs of Energizer batteries in just as many weeks!
I work in the lawn/landscape business, which requires ear protection.
I chose these muffs over ear plugs so I could listen to something other than my own thoughts.
However...I can't afford to replace the batteries every week, so now I just wear the high dollar muffs with no music!
They do a great job of drowning out the noise, but you can buy a $10 basic pair to do that.
Don't buy these until the battery companies make extremely-long-lasting batteries!

Excellent Headphones

I've used this product for about a year and a have no complaints. The radio works well and can pick up any station in the area, the volume suits me fine (I've never had to turn it all the way up), the operational controls are pretty intuitive (but I can't remember how to program it...), and it does an excellent of filtering out the noise from the mower.
The only potential weak spot is battery life, which I estimate to be between 60 and 70 hours. For me, that's an entire mowing season, so not really a problem. I don't know whether there's good solution to this. A 9 volt battery (common in the older transistor radios) seems too big to fit, not to mention re-engineering the circuitry, and a rechargable would add to the cost so there may be nothing that 3M can do about this.
On the whole I recommend this product to anyone who occasionally needs hearing protection.

Very Durable

I received my Digital Work Tunes as a gift. After many hours of use I accidentally forgot them on my riding mower and drove over mine. They were unhurt and very useable. Thank you 3M.

Reception is very good

Received in December, 2015 as Christmas gift. AM pulls in remote stations very well. At night, it works extremely well getting stations from several states away. Quality is good and it's easy to switch from one station to another. FM works great and auto-programming is nice. Once you've got the stations you like, you can simply press the tuning button (rather than turning it) to jump from one station to the next higher frequency one. Glad I received this gift.

Did some one now if this is OSHA approve? My employer won't let me use them because they say there not approve, we just got a OSHA visit I work at nutraceutical manufacturin.

my husband used it when he is outside mowing the lawn, or walking the dog. he loves it. my older son saw it and wants one too. So I will have to get him one for Christmas.

bought these for my job lasted about 3 months than all of a sudden stopped working. when they did work they were great

3M gave me a free sample of the 3M Digital WorkTunes hearing potector & AM/FM stereo featuring voice assist. They work great protecting your ears from noise & you get to enjoy your favorite music at the same time. I would highly recommend these to anyone!
