Way better than old ones. Ear pads fall off to easy, now i need one. The voice is annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a pair of these from 3M in exchange for a honest review which follows. Lets start with the good, the fit was quite nice even while wearing glasses, the volume levels were also with in a tolerable range while operating equipment. What will take getting used to is the controls. I kept reaching up and missing the knobs only to end up bumping the wrong one and changing stations or the volume by mistake. Now that was when wearing gloves and I'm sure as time goes on you get familiar with the locations and can make adjustments without thinking about it. Reception was fair, not great but not terrible. While the addition of the line in jack has served well for years I do believe that within a couple years from now it will be obsolete as more and more cellphones drop the jack in favor of a USB-C style of connector. Overall the head set works well for a basic upgrade to just plain hearing protection. Pack your ipod and cable and get to work.

I have put in fresh batteries and made sure it was turned off, a week later i tried to use them and the batteries were dead....this has happened multiple times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sliders non-adjustable?

Just got them today. First thing I did was put them on. Ear pieces are to high as they come in the package and need to be adjusted. Okay, no problem, right?
According to the manual, I need to pull the sliders down. As it comes In the package, each slider is about 1/2 inch down. 1. Takes a lot of force to pull the sliders down. Even then, it only comes down about 1 inch. 2. When you pull one earpiece slider down, the other one pulls up into the headband until it can't go anymore. So, the 1 inch it comes down is the 1/2 inch from the other side going back up in the headband!?
It appears that the sliders are connected to each other! What! This makes no sense. Nothing in the manual about a clasp or locking mechanism, and, I couldn't see any.
The only way to wear these is either they fit above my earlobes, or, fit over 1 ear, and half on the other.
Returning to the place I purchased for refund.
Note: I have the non Bluetooth version that I've been using for a few years, and have been very pleased with it.

Horrible Product

I bought these 3 months ago at first they seemed nice but randomly when the noise reduction for my music kicks in it goes so quiet that i hear my weed eater at full blast. I can conclude from this the headset itself does not dampen out the noise without something playing. Might as well buy a gaming headset as they have better noise reduction and sound dampening technology.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
