Did the Trick

I received this product free from 3M and wanted to try it as I work from home and transcribe all day. I was interested to know if they would reduce city noise along with my music while I transcribed. Sure enough I didn't notice trucks and buses driving by as much as I usually do and even missed hearing the phone ring. I mainly used the MP3 option, but did find the AM/FM radio programming easy. I had hoped I could wear the hearing protection for my whole shift, but after 4 hours they had become too tight. I noticed that the easy to follow printed instructions were in English and Spanish, but did not notice a Spanish option while using the voice assist when programming the head set.

AM tunning trouble

I just bought this product to listen to the radio while I mow my lawn. It does a great job of reducing the noise from the lawn mower, but I haven't been able to tune into many AM radio stations. It keeps jumping over stations. I need to program it to 840, but it jumps from 837 to 846. The FM tuner and clarity was great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We always suggest making sure that the unit is in the correct mode to scan through stations, which would be "Frequency Mode" on the device. In order to be in the "Frequency Mode" for tuning stations, please press the mode button until you hear the voice assist say "Frequency Mode." Stopped working

After having this product for seven months it simply quit working. I'm not impressed by the quality.

I work in lawn maintenance and am using loud machines all day every day. I love to listen to music (even better, sports radio!) while I work, but the volume has to be so loud that I was worried about damaging my hearing... Until now! What a great product!! Hearing is protected from the sounds of my machines allowing me to keep the volume of the music down and I can even listen to sports radio! If I get tired of the talk radio, I switch over to my iPod. Makes the day fly by!
I would recommend this to a friend!

POOR RECEPTION

Purchased set about 6 months ago. From the beginning they had poor AM reception and sound quality. What I found more troubling was they had poor FM reception as well. They have been used so little I have only used 2 sets of batteries and had just installed a third set. I now have no FM reception at all and AM reception that is so poor you can't listen to it. VERY DISAPOINTING !
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product has great features

The reception was fair worked good for about 6 months shut them off after wok the next day turned on and wouldn't work Replaced batteries still would not work. For the cost of the product it was a lot of money to pay for the quality.

Good protection, bad FM reception

This is my second pair of work tunes. First pair is at work. Working great. My new pair has the digital screen (like my old ones) but the reception is poor with these. If I am listening to a station and move around the yard, it goes to static and then I am listening to another station or stations. Then it goes back to the preset. This happens constantly and makes this unit worthless except for hearing protection. But thats not why I bought them. I was going to buy another new pair but someone at work bought the "new" version and says that the tuner button changes the station if you are wearing a hoodie. Not not what I would want. I use 3M products all the time, but this one is a disappointment.

High quality, great features, works as intended

I bought this last year and I'm very happy with the performance. I like that there are no cords. Tuning and presets are easy to use. Noise attenuation is perfect for my uses: mowing the lawn, running the leaf blower, using the string trimmer, operating the snowplow. Presets are preserved when changing batteries. I have nothing bad to say about this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!
