reception is terrible am or fm

They fit well for hearing protection and do an excellent job,but as for the radio reception there is none unless you grab ahold of the antenna with your hand, then it works better but not a lot. For the cost, they are expensive for no radio,I could have just bought regular hearing muffs and saved the extra dollars

These headphone are on my head 10hrs plus a day. Besides my sunglasses I cannot live without. I get about 3-4 weeks on a set of batteries. Don't use rechargeable as someone mentioned they were not happy with results. Rechargeables never hold as much as a charge as a fresh non rechargeable. Headphones hold my channels I like on am and fm in memory and even when you take the batteries out channels still hold in memory...Ausome. One trick I learned is if your station you normally follow is 105.0 Sometimes tuning to the .5 either up or down from the station will get better reception. So instead of 105.0. Try 105.5 or 104.5...it's great it's all digital with .5 increments. Another plus is the bright yellow color for safety to be seen by drivers going by. Bottom line, bought another for back up because I have become so attached to this I don't know what I would do without. Keep up the great product. Kevin

Like the older models better

On my 4th set so do like the product. However, the newest set doesn't allow me to see which station I am tuned to. Have to listen to the voice every time. That is a pain. Will you trade it for an older version?

Bought a pair to replace my analog. On those the tuner was so loose it would not hold a station. The new ones lasted less than a year. Like those reviews below, no display and static is all I get is static. I use these about 2-3 times a month working on woodworking projects and twice a year at the drag strip in Pomona!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We always suggest making sure that the unit is in the correct mode to scan through stations, which would be "Frequency Mode" on the device. good sound and protection

My third pair and they are used for yard work or for radio when movement around the property is required. They all have the same issue. After a few months the stereo part no longer works. Sound only comes out of one speaker/muff.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice features, looses reception when moving and button fell off

I really like the features, but mine may be defective. A station may be tuned perfectly at one moment, but no signal the next. Also, the volume button kept falling off, and finally it dropped into the wood chipper.
I would recommend this to a friend!

second pair of ear muffs. first pair was poor so foolishly I bought a new pair. Can't get but 3 local stations and I am in a metropolition area. When I do get a station, for some reason the other memory saved stations all bleed together so I can't hear anything. Poor quality, not what one expects from such a company.

This product just stopped working for no apparent reason

I have had these ear phones for about 3 years and used them only in the summer months for ear protection while mowing my lawn on my lawn tractor. One day they just stopped working. They had not been physically damaged or abused and the batteries were fresh and fully charged. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product.
