[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were able to try out the Graco SnugRide SnugFit 35 thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have a 4 month old and a 2.5 year old at home. We were excited to test out a new infant seat for our newborn.
Once we got our seat and inspected it throughly before installing it. What we liked at first glance was the infant insert, how light the actual seat is, and the extended weight limit for a rear facing car seat. Things that I didn’t love:
- the car seats over all material isn’t the softest and a little scratchy
- Flimsy canopy
- No buckle tummy pad
- Two hand handle release

When we went to instal the car seat in our 2015 Subaru Forester, it was not successful. The base was unable to get into the correct position even with the adjustable base. This feature is awesome to have to adjust to the correct setting, but it did not sit nicely in our vehicle. We were not able to properly install the car seat in our cars. The base was unable to reach the proper angle for the 3 months and up range. We were also unable to get the base tight enough to were it wouldn’t move. The anti-rebound bar is a nice touch for extra safety. As a mom of two, I am always looking for extra safety features to keep my kids safe.
We will be testing the car seat out in another vehicle, but it was not a great fit for our 2 Subaru’s.
This car seat has many features that we enjoyed, however safety is our top priority. I would never recommend a car seat that didn’t install properly into the vehicle that you were driving.

Functional and SAFE Infant Seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Let me start by saying that when it comes to car seats and the safety of my infant, I am extremely selective. Needless to say, safety features are a top concern. The SnugRide SnugFit 35 certainly checks the safety boxes with its features such as the infant head and neck supports, simply safe adjust hardness system, and especially the anti-rebound bar on the car seat base.
Installation of the base with hooks was easy and straightforward, perhaps even simpler than other makes that use latch connectors. The four reclining positions and leveling indicator gave me confidence that the base was installed correctly. However, uninstalling of the base was a bit more tedious as it requires unhooking from a point you cannot see as opposed to pressing a button on each connector. This is worth considering if the base needs to be removed or transferred between vehicles often.
My favorite features of the SnugRide SnugFit 35, beyond safety, are the fabric and adjustable headrest. For babies prone to spitting and blowouts, the cloth material is easily washable and can be wiped down on the go. The adjustable headrest is very easy to use and helps keep your baby comfortable while it grows with the click of a button. There is no disassembly or re-threading of harness straps required as with many other infant seat makes.
In terms of sizing, it fits very well in my small/midsize SUV. There is plenty of space behind the driver's seat and is easy to get in and out of the car. It is a streamlined style with a modern and sleek appearance that will last. The overall build of the car seat is sure to keep baby happy, comfortable, and safe for any distance or length of time!

Lightweight and Gives Peace of Mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Graco car seat carrier. We love this one because it’s gotten lighter than previous models but doesn’t seem like it’s sacrificed any safety. We love the rebound bar addition to the product. Thankfully, we've never had to test it in a collision, but it seems to make the seat more secure in the back of the car when it’s stationary. It gives us peace of mind, for sure! We also loved the color and the 4-position adjustable base since we have a car and SUV.

Great features, a little snug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was pleasantly surprised with this car seat! The Graco Snugfit 35 lives up to it's name with it's snugness. It is suitable for use from 4-35lbs, but for chunkier/taller babies like my own, I doubt it would ever make it to the 35lb mark. At 20 lbs and 28" my little one is already a bit squished and uncomfortable looking, and her feet hit the rebound bar. However the snugness should allow this seat to fit into smaller cars a bit easier.
My absolute favorite feature of this car seat is the easy adjustable height/shoulder straps. For anyone who has ever had a car seat, you know how tedious it is to re-thread the shoulder straps as baby grows. This seat has a button at the top of where baby's head goes, that easily adjusts the straps without ever having to re-thread them. Brilliant!

Lightweight and Spacious

The chair I was using was already tight all around him. The snugfit is very spacious so my son does not get sweaty. It is easy to install and I love that you can adjust the incline on the base. My favorite part though is that you don’t have to undo the straps to adjust them! Overall it is a great car seat.

Light & easy infant car seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco SnugRide® SnugFit™ 35 infant car seat is a great, light weight option. I really appreciate the added feature of the anti rebound bar. This is something that my older son’s convertible seat has and I really like that it is an included safety feature of this infant seat! Having the adjustable base did help me to install the seat more easily in my car and to get the correct incline. I also appreciated features such as the adjustable no re-thread harness and how easy it is to remove the seat from the base. One feature I would have loved to see would have been rigid latches. I was able to try and review this product through the Stellar product testing panel.

Quality Car Seat That Lives Up To Its Name

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon pulling the car seat out of the box, I was already impressed. It looked - true to its name - snug. With a new baby, there is NOTHING more important in a car seat than making sure little one is as secure as possible, and being snug in the seat reinforces that comfort. I received the car seat gratis from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and will be switching! I was thrilled with the quality of the fabric, the ease of installation (easiest car seat I have ever installed), light weight and easy maneuvering of the car seat/carrier, the super innovative rebound bar, and the placement of buttons for adjusting the carrier handle (at the thumbs rather than the palms!). Respecting the installation, my absolute favorite part is the knee-sized groove through the center of the base, perfect for kneeling to get the base super tight and stable. That is super innovative, and immensely helpful. I do feel like the shade could come down a little farther, and could work with the handle a bit better. The shade does not come through the handle very easily, and I am worried I'll break it, but that is a minor consideration. overall, it is a fabulous car seat that should give anyone peace of mind that baby is as safe as he or she can possibly be in a car.
