Protected my infant in an accident

We had this seat on our registry and received it before our baby was born. Installation was simple, following the instructions and when our baby was born it was a great fit. When my baby was 11 days old we were in an car accident that resulted in all air bags being deployed and our car totaled. Our baby was perfectly safe in her Snugride carseat and unaffected by the crash. She was unharmed and calm. I trust this seat to keep her safe because of that experience and am buying it again to replace the one that was in the crash. I would absolutely recommend this seat to any parent looking for a safe, affordable carseat!

Easy to get off of base!

I've had a SnugRide Click Connect and that works great. However, I like this much more. It's much easier to get off of the base. The Click Connect bases work with this too- it's just improved. There is also more padding which my baby likes, and it helps to keep him secure in the seat. We've been using this for about a month. I've tried it in 3 cars and it fits behind the seat just fine with leg room to spare- Subaru Outback, Chevy Tahoe & GMC Denali Truck. We started using it when my son was 1 month old.The pattern is very modern too! I did receive this infant seat in exchange for my honest review.

i got this car seat for my baby that was born may 19th 2022. on 8/3/22 we got into a pretty bad car accident. the only thing my baby got from it was a tiny tiny scratch on her finger. i will only use this car seat from now on. THANK YOU GRACO.

Does not have simply safe harness :(

I read a review stating this one had the Simply Safe harness adjuster and bought it solely for that. We had it on our car seat for our last baby and it was the BEST feature. Rethreading these harness straps is awful every time your baby grows. This car seat does NOT have the simply safe harness and you need to rethread from the back every time your baby grows. The one hand handle adjust is not a selling point for me but the harness adjustment is. Will be returning.

Saved our son's life!

My husband, 2-month-old baby, and I were in a horrible accident earlier this month. A drunk driver ran a stop sign going 60 mph at an intersection in front of us. We never saw him coming and our vehicle turned over twice. We landed upside down. Our 2-month-old baby was in an older model Graco Infant DLX car seat. It was my nephew's car seat. It saved our son's life! God was definitely watching over us and protected us for sure! We would definitely recommend buying a Graco car seat. We will be purchasing another one because they recommend not using a car seat after it's been in an accident even if it appears intact. We are worried to take our son in the car again. However, having another Graco car seat will help put our minds at ease.

Excellent Carseat

Disclosure; I received this product for free in exchange for my thoughts. I have been using this carseat for a few weeks now, my daughter was 6 lbs when we started using this SnugRide SnugLock 35 Infant Car Seat. The installation of the base was super easy. I have the base in a captain seat that dips, kind of like a bucket seat, I was worried we wouldn't be able to safely use a carseat in these seats. If you have the same concerns about how your vehicles seat will handle a carseat, this is the base you want. The base has four recline positions, so I was able to easily recline the base to work for my vehicles seat and have my daughter at the safest incline. The level indicator took out the guess work of trying to figure out if I was installing it properly. I also check it right after I click the carseat in each time, just to make sure the base didn't move, especially because I have two other children in and out bumping the base. The indicator is probably the most valuable part of the carseat. The head and body support is perfect for her tiny size, provides great support and she doesn't look like a swallowed up tiny thing in a huge carseat. We have been dealing with colic and she has an almost nightly ritual of an inconsolable crying, swinging her arms and not wanting anything. We have tried just about everything to soothe her screaming and restlessness. Before this carseat we even tried taking her on a drive, but she just wouldn't calm down long enough to find the relief. I have started a schedule of feeding her before 8 pm and if we can't soothe her to sleep. I put her in this carseat, secure the 5 point harness and she will immediately stop flailing. Once we get in the car and go for a drive she will quiet down and finally take her pacifier. I could never even get to this point for at least a good 45 minutes before. I believe the combination of being snug in this carseat and the calming drive has helped her relax. I can't praise this carseat enough for being such a great source of comfort for my daughter.
It's also beautiful, I love the bold black and grey Accel pattern, which goes great for a boy or a girl.
I've already had to wash the cushion cover, due to a diaper blowout and it was fairly easy to remove it and put it back on. The color didn't fade and it still looks like new.
