Lightweight & life changing one hand adjust!

I was really anxious to try this car seat. I’m a self proclaimed safety and baby gadget expert and my son has reflux, which I attribute with his hatred of car rides/seats. My 9 month old did seem to tolerate trips a bit more, the angle seemed just right, and I found him falling asleep more often in the car. This seat is noticeably lighter weight than any infant seat I’ve tried... when you’re still toting around your 18 pound baby along with all your essentials, every pound is crucial. The one handed adjust is LIFECHANGING.... I can’t believe this isn’t a universal car seat feature, every single time I used the seat, I appreciated not having to put down my ‘luggage’ to take the seat in and out. I used the latch clips for install, and although I wasn’t familiar with this process, I read the thorough instructions and figured it out quick and got a very tight fit. The color combo and pattern looks high end, however it’s not a color I’d gravitate toward, the black shows animal hair terribly and it embeds easily in this fabric. The shoulder pads seem pretty basic/cheap and I’d almost prefer to not have them at all. The canopy fabric is thin and stretchy and extends down very far to protect babe from the sun. It doesn’t get hung up on the handle like most others do. For advertising a one handed adjust, it was a little frustrating how much I struggled with the chest clip.... I can’t explain what about it makes it difficult, but I found myself having to use both hands to fidget it open. Overall, terrific seat and I’ve trusted the Graco brand for years for protecting my children, I knew for certain even with a couple drawbacks that my baby was safe.

GREAT CARSEAT WITH ONE HANDLE ADJUST!

I was very impressed with this carseat. I loved how easily the base installs, so this makes things quicker when me and my husband have to switch the carseat into our vehicle. The base installs using a In Right Latch connection. I liked hearing the click so I knew the carseat was more secure than just using a seatbelt. I also loved there is a storage feature for the latches when they aren’t being used. Once the carseat is latched and tightened, there is a level indicator so you know the carseat is positioned correctly. There are also pictures all along the carseat so you know if you have installed the carseat correctly. The carseat also clicks into the base, so you don’t have to shake the carseat to make sure it is in place and secure. Once you are ready to take the baby out of the car, there is a lock release in the back to remove the carseat from the base. Sometimes the lock release gets stuck. I find I just have to adjust the angle of how I am removing the carseat and then I don't have a problem. The whole process of installation and removal is super easy and quick. I love the fabric of the carseat and it has nice cushioned protection. There is also a top and bottom insert that goes inside to add more padding and comfort. I feel my baby is very safe, comfortable, and secure. The shoulder straps are easy to adjust as baby grows and the process seemed to be a lot faster than other carseats I have owned. The shoulder straps each have a cushion so the straps don’t rub against my baby’s skin. I loved that Graco added the extra cushion inside the bucket and on the straps to make sure my baby was comfortable. This makes me feel that not only safety but my baby’s comfort is also important to Graco. The one thing I noticed about the bucket is that my baby doesn't sit as deep inside as other carseats I have owned. I am not as concerned because my baby still seems very safe and secure. I love how lightweight and easy to move around this carseat was compared to other carseats I have owned. This will be very convenient as my baby grows and gains more weight. Another feature I love is the canopy. The canopy is large to shield my baby from the sun while riding in the car or while outside. It also adjusts quietly so I don't' have to worry about waking her while she is sleeping. There is also a nice space between the handle and the canopy so my hand doesn't rub while I am are carrying the carseat. My absolute favorite feature of this carseat is the SINGLE PUSH BUTTON HANDlE! I hate having to push the button on both side of the carseat like other carseats I have owned. This handle is super simple. All you have to do is push one button in the middle and the handle adjust easily. At first, I didn't think the handle went back very far when I was trying to get my baby out. Then I realized there are actually four different angles the handle clicks into place. You can have the handle straight above the baby’s head while carrying and right behind the baby's head so you can get them out. You also have the option of positioning the handle right behind the canopy or putting the handle all the way below the carseat. I was able to click into each of these positions easily and only having to push one button instead of two was very convenient. I loved having the one push button when I needed to adjust the handle quickly and didn't have to hassle with having both of my hands free. I could pick up my two year old in one arm and adjust the handle and pick up my baby with my other free hand. I love all the features of this incredible carseat. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a carseat that is not only safe and comfortable but also convenient. I’m grateful WeeSpring Parent Panel sent me this to review.

Looks Good but Not Practical

I got this carrier as a gift for my baby shower a few months ago. It looks like a great, sturdy and safe carrier. However, the headrest is not removable or adjustable so my 3mo old is already about to outgrow it and also gets too hot. I wish I would have exchanged it for something different.

AMAZING CAR SEAT

This car seat is THE BEST! this is why Graco is our go to brand! We had a different brand car seat prior to this one and my baby hated getting in it and being strapped down which made it hard to leave the house but now that weve made the switch, this Graco car seat is the BEST and has made us leaving the house sooo much easier and less of a headache because my daughter LOVES getting in this one its sooo comfy and padded and she always is happy and relaxed in it!
